Lms Corrination Class For Crewe-liverpool

    Once Spirt of steam has released any it has been a couple of Months can we see the LMS corrination class pls so like Duchess of Sutherland class it would be amazing.

    Brilliant suggestion mate. They are such powerful locos which really have a presence.

    I presume they would have run over this route in 1958 because if they did they will be on the top of my list for locos that should be added to the Liverpool to Crewe route.

    Excellent idea and this will be the high-speed steam train for WCML Liverpool Crewe. The German equivalent to her is the DB BR010 Frieda home route Bamberg-Hof or Koblenz Koln Hbf. The best value is LMS Corrination Class with LMS Black Five Henry.

    Duchess Of Sutherland is a beast.
    Had it on a railtour in 1985, York, Durham Coast to Newcastle, across to Carlisle via Haltwhistle then via the S&C back to Leeds.

    To quote Wallace & Gromit, it was a “grand day out”.
