I’m stuck at 500mph and the speed won’t decrease when you finally break then the Speedo still says I’m at 500mph ?? Also the train wheelslips when it shouldn’t t there is so much wrong with the train it’s frustrating there’s loads of bugs that should of been spotted
Do you have any other details such as the weather, where it happened, etc. In terms of the brakes, they will take a really long time unless you open the large ejector until the vc gets to 21, then close it. Put the combination brake into release and the large ejector to open. Also they are vacuum brakes so they gonna take a while to release and apply. They aren't like modern brakes that are fast to apply and release. Also, if you apply too much power or too much brake at once, you will get wheelslip depending on the weather condition. Also remember to bring the reverser down as you increase in speed and apply more regulator unless youve already tried.
I agree the physics on these locomotives are messed up sometimes, last day I was doing the rescue scenario and all was fine until suddenly my 8F got a huge injection of Red Bull and I was unable to stop it but to restart the scenario:
had a similar issue where no matter what break I applied the 8F would not stop I finally got it to stop but only because Crewe has an incline with the freight bypass tunnel
