The Siemens Vectron is a mixed traffic loco that runs all over Europe. The BR 193 runs mainly in Germany and could be added in DB or MRCE livery. The loco would fit on most of the existing german routes and would really top off the current selection of German electrics that we already have. We have the Traxx and the Taurus already, the only one missing is the Vectron. Consider liking the thread if you would like to see this loco added
Yeah, I think this loco add on fits in perfectly with Munich Augsburg, running freight services along the route
Also the Austrian routes if in game as ÖBB1293. Some have Dutch ATB ÖBB1293 170-200 and the video is from the official Austrian Federal Railways YouTube channel. Comments in that video are in German language
DB also bought some vectrons for freight in Belgium as well, real versatile loco and popular all over europe
I've been waiting a long time for this locomotive. I would definitely like it in TSW 2. Czech Railways also started buying these locomotives.
EU46 locomotive PKP while Taurus is EU44 in Polish Railways service. In Austria 1293 and some of those units have Dutch ATB EG NG installed 1293 170-200. That means that batch can appear on all Dutch routes proposed here including Duisburg Oberhausen-Arnhem Railway
Great Idea, but why only a cargo loco when the Vectro could also be used for passengers, but these are other classes but are actually the same from the design
A vectron would be great, potentially for Riesa - Dresden where they can be seen a lot in Real life. Yes, the Vectron operates both freight and passenger services, and it would be great to see one in the EC from Prague to Berlin (on my Dresden - Dečin suggestion perhaps ), or other passenger services. Sadly however, to my knowledge no Vectrons operate passenger services on amy of the routes in game currently, just freight. But maybe, one day .
The Vectron could also fit in the Netherlands between Amsterdam and Hengelo as they started operating the Intercity Berlijn Lately.
They have been mostly pulled back from those again to haul the nightjets (which they were originally intended for). They do however operate a lot of freight services in the Netherlands still .
On Czech railways, this locomotive is often used in towing passenger trains. It has often been used in freight transport for several years. I would be very happy to have this locomotive added to TSW2. It has many uses and is one of my favorites.
You mean the Köln Duisburg Oberhausen-Arnhem Amsterdam section of the Nightjet service. Even some of the Austrian units can go into the Netherlands 1293 173-200. Provided the Dutch Railways and ÖBB has an agreement to let them run to the Netherlands via Duisburg Oberhausen Arnhem Railway. Had that occurred what will happen is NS1600 family Amsterdam Arnhem but ÖBB1293 173-200 Arnhem Wien Hbf via Main Spessart Bahn Aschaffenburg-Lohr and Westbahn Linz-Wien Hbf. Video is by the Dutch Railways NS about the Nightjet Amsterdam Vienna via Duisburg Köln Frankfurt Am Main Hbf and Linz in Dutch Language. If you're doing time table service on Köln Duisburg Railway and Duisburg Oberhausen-Arnhem Railway ÖBB1116 ends at Köln Hbf where the NS Vectron carries the train from cologne all the way to Amsterdam.
Today I photographed in Prague at the main railway station, Vectrona EP Cargo pulling RegioJet wagons.
