Now, before we get into this, I know what you're thinking: "Don't we already have a Class 40 locomotive for Train Simulator?". Well, kinda, but it's actually just one locomotive in one livery: 40145 in BR Blue. What I'm talking about is an add-on for all British Rail Class 40 diesels in all of its liveries. Now, with that out of the way, let's get down to business. The British Rail Class 40, originally the English Electric Type 4, was I believe an express passenger locomotive primarily used in the Eastern and London Midland Regions. If you wanna know more about these locomotives, I suggest you look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_40. Now, as you can guess, I will be posting photos of the liveries that this locomotive wore during its life.

Now as always, to prevent plagiarism in any way, I will link the websites where I found these photos on.

I know I always say this, but I do hope Dovetail Games, or whoever's officially in charge of making add-ons for Train Simulator sees my proposal, and decides to make the add-on, and then make it available for Train Simulator. As always, please tell me your thoughts/opinions on my proposal, because your voice really matters to me.

I can thoroughly recommend the ArmstrongPowerhouse Class 40, my first loco purchase from AP. Although it is in the steam store there is only one livery. bought from AP there are many versions and liveries.

I'm thinking this is yet another post asking for something that already exists, that a lot of people have but it does not suit you because it's not on Steam.

So should DTG spend lots of money -
making a model that is already available and because of that the Sales of the model would be limited.?
Or should DTG continue to develop routes and trains that nobody else has built?

    please tell me your thoughts/opinions
