this would be a new route calling at Limehouse, West Ham, Barking, Upminster (to way diversion) 1st way, Ockendon, Chafford Hundred, Grays, Tilbury Town, East Tilbury, Stanford-Le-Hope>(back to upminster) West Horndon, Laindon, Basildon>(two lines join at Pitsea), Pitsea, Benfleet, Leigh-On-Sea, Chalkwell, Westcliff, Southend Central,( Line via grays terminates here ) (line via basildon continues )> Southend East, Thorpe Bay, Shoeburyness. There is also on weekend a line from Liverpool ST calling at Stratford, Barking... Trains used of this line is the class 357s... There are also 2 other trains one of which are only used at rush hour (378) ,and new trains due to arrive this year. This train is the class 720s... last thing to say is that there are 2 depots at Shoeburyness and East Ham.
A shame that one of the busiest London freight routes doesn't get a freight comment even as a layer... This route has been suggested a fair amount of times, but I think if DTG made another Electrostar heavy route right now people would get out the flaming pitchforks... Maybe set it back in the day with some slam door stock?
Lovely units, such a shame so little remains of them, I visited Mangapps Railway Museum at the end of September where the last two remaining Class 302 vehicles are preserved. Would be awesome to see them represented in the game.
