It was a previous operator of the GEML. You may recognise the livery:

I think if ur doing GEML you need tfl rai or apart of the Elizabeth because it literally runs beside it. I would love to see the class 315s, 745s, 360s, 720s, 321s, 322s and 345s in the game but let’s be realistic, dovetail are not gonna do all of them sadly.

How about set the route in the mid 2010's and have the class 315 and 321 with base route and then add the class 90 as a loco dlc, that should be manageable to develop and it would be enough to get the full timetable.

If Dovetail games DTG did do GEML greater Anglia from London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria, Colchester and Colchester town via Romford they would probably only put greater Anglia class 321 and 360 but if they did TFL rail beside the GEML greater Anglia main line they would probably add the TFL rail class 315 and 345 calling at all stations to shenfield

That’s sounds like a good idea but I think 2015 would be better than 2010

What if they did mid 2015 as the base dlc with class 321,360, 315 and 90. And then they could do something like the diesel legends pack but instead of going back they go forward to 2021 but with pre covid timetable so we can get the introduction of the class 745s, 720s and 345

Unfortunately we very rarely get a new route with more then 1 completely brand new train, that's why I suggested having the base route with the 315 and 321 and then have the 90 as a loco dlc.

As cool as it would be, we're never going to get the 315, 321, 90 and 360 all with the base route.

As long as there is either the class 720 or 745, I would definitely buy it. Maybe they could make a scenario about a busy beach day in southend.

Class 387s have never appeared on GEML metals. The very similar-looking Class 379 used to operate on the West Anglia mainline which veers-off from the GEML at Bethnal Green, apart from empty runs to Ilford and Orient Way and AI for the first mile of the route, there's not much use for a 379 on a Great Eastern route.

The franchise holder for the GEML between 2004 and 2012 was National Express.

At first they branded the route "One" which was split into four sub brands of "Stansted Express, West Anglia, Great Eastern and Anglia" The livery (Dull greyish/blue with pastel-coloured rainbow at the end of each coach) and the concept were both a disaster (as were the services at the time). It was rebranded as National Express East Anglia in Feb 2008 with their white and silver livery. But thanks to the slow pace at which NX repainted their units there was a point around 2010 - 2011 when there were 10 different liveries on their trains.

The Greater Anglia branding comes from when Abellio took over from NXEA in 2012.
