Looking at the new DTG video of the route, it looks absolutely fabulous and amazing. Definitely a first day buy on xbox.

The exterior model looks superb, interior looks very rough still with the lighting and lack of posters on board the train.

Here's what Liam had to say about the layers btw

That's a lot of freight services

Yeahh I mean I definitely see where you're coming from! But then as you say everyone has different opinions which isn't a bad thing :)

The scenery from the preview does look good so could be a refreshing change especially with the amount of custom assets. It looks well detailed from the preview video too so I hope it goes down well. I just think personally its not my cup of tea which again is okay, just sharing my opinion (although apologies if it came over a little stronger than I meant it :))

Interesting, 450 services for such a short route is quite impressive actually.

Looking forward to all those freight services, I always enjoy the challenge of doing a freight run as fast as possible without ever having to actually stop because I've got too close to the commuter train in front, this line looks like it will be perfect for that.

I’m actually looking forward to this route.

It looks well modelled and the AI layers make it all the more interesting. Doesn’t look like the 710 has any suspension physics though (am I wrong?)

I don't think it does, at the moment it's only fitted on the 142, and the TC 66 and the TC 323. The ECML 66 is being worked on but that's it so far.

I agree. My point is and one I've made a lot is that there is a lack of North EAst routes in teh game ( to date 1 ) compared with those for London and the South (Lost count)

I understand you 'd like some other region, but to put it into perspective: only 7 of 195 countries in the world have TSW routes, so the UK is actually well served with routes and one could state that you shouldn't complain about your prefered region. Not trying to get into an argument here, but I think a lot has to do with having the people to develop routes in a certain region, as foreigner to me it's quite logical that the people at DTG (and third parties) prefer to develop routes that they are familiar with and/or have an interest in. It seems these sell well enough so no reason to put extra effort (thus money) in doing research in a region they are less familiar with. I'm sure that as TSW evolves and more third party developers get involved, you will get your route at some point.

Bit of feedback regarding the route. I don't know if it was spotted already but just in case the wires are clipping through the bridge in this particular scene. Train Sim World 4 London Overground Suffragette line – FIRST LOOK.png

Overall It seems there is a focus from DTG on getting the urban part right - so that’s a good sign. We have a lot (majority) of routes that are mostly countryside bits, which is par for the course with railways obviously, but it will be nice to have a solely dedicated experience to rutting around a city (at least not in a tunnel).

The 710 looks nice, as the trains usually always do.

The price aspect is obviously cropping up because ultimately this is 13 miles at quite a steep cost, when compared to milage for other DLC’s - although I do have to agree that cost should be judged not on milage, but on the experience. To me KWG is not worth £5 more than this route, just because it has an extra 100+ miles. Those 100 miles don’t add anything more than simply watching the miles tick down. It’s a slog of a route.

The most exciting part of any DLC for me is arriving into an urban centre - so a proper line going through one is definitely something that calls to me.

Ultimately though this route will lose out to Fife Circle for me, the experience does matter, but then Fife Circle will simply offer much more of an experience than this will & that’s where the pricing has gone wrong.

Had the 2 routes been released far enough apart, this one will have likely been a purchase, but given where it’s landing (inbetween several tasty looking routes), it’s hard to justify spending £25 on this, when the others offer significantly more for £30.

All being well, I’ll pick this one up when it hits the sub £20 price point.

I much prefer the suffragette line to the fifth circle line but I understand that it is your opinion and I respect that. It looks pretty good so far.

And another interesting fact is how the 710 cab interiors look similar to that of S7/S8 underground stock even down to hook shaped traction brake controller

They had to, otherwise they would've most likely lost the license.

    being a tad dramatic?

this is clearly a heavily licensed DLC & DTG likely didn’t have a say in the matter.

Seriously. You're being dramatic. If DTG didn't play ball the route would've been in the same situation that the American Route is currently in.

DTG are looking to build annoucements in core rather than the bespoke approach taken by third parties.

If it's anything like the suspension improvements then that probably means it will be annouced as a game wide feature in TSW5 before finally appearing in TSW6.

And like many other things in the ‘core’ it will disappear after a couple of releases.

Whatever this core is that DTG speak of, it sure has a lot of gaps that things fall into.

They could do what Rivet has done and do announcements for each individual train until a core is developed.

Does anyone know if there will be PIS on the platforms? I can't see any in the image.

yes there will as it is a TSW4 route and all the routes have PIS screens. It is a modern route which will make you think their will be.

That looks like a PIS, I don’t see DTG not including them as it became “mandatory” with every modern route now. I wonder if the lettering will be like irl with white dots instead of yellow at Barking Riverside.

I think that purely travelling in London, they would have PIS, it makes sense. With a route like this, if it has PIS on the train, you are going to guarantee that it will be in the station

Does this route include ETCS, like most modern lines (Elisabeth Line)?

No just TPSW & AWS. Although the 710 might be equipped with ETCS like the 801 & 345

ETCS is slowly being rolled out in Britain, but the Suffragette line still uses TPWS I’m sure and likely will for a long time because of its freight interworking with other routes.

Wait until release +1 on Xbox and you can get 10% discount with Game Pass (as TSW4 Standard Edition is included in GP until August).

I'm loving the preview steam at the moment, but just one thing that bugs me is, yes I love the feature of automatic closing doors like they do in real life, but can I suggest when they close in game the green ring around the button is still lit and the "lock doors" objective isn't complete until the driver closes the doors via the button

Dunno if this is the appropriate place to mention feedback, however I was looking through the comments on the preview streams (as I usually do) and I just happened to notice this comment from someone who operates the Class 710s in reality

He/she has left some quite interesting feedback regarding mostly the DMI & HMI interfaces in the cab etc and I feel it's definitely worth mentioning here if by chance the user does not have a DTL account.

The DMI is mentioned as being from a Class 345. Didn't DTG get reference material for the 710 from a 710?

would welcome more stuff like this - like, max power used when starting a train, speeding up, using brakes... for more realistic experience :) not only here, but also other trains... feedback from real drivers :)

So I watched sections of the preview stream, London is not that quiet. Even taking out the lack of Station announcements (Seriously though, why is this still a thing?) London was really quiet and not life like. Also, Why no Tube stock at Barking station? I know it's not the right tube stock but just something to show the London Underground there would have been great. Same with C2C as well. Just something to show how busy an interchange Barking Station is. Instead we got another ghost town representing a major station. I think I'll be voting with my wallet on this DLC and I won't be purchasing it anytime soon.

As far as I can tell DTG clearly did not use reference material from a 710 which does not make any sense. Top image is from TSW & bottom is from a real 710.

It’s been clear since the 700 & 801 they’ve been using a single asset and tweaking.

Suspect this one was just a lack of attention.

That's really disappointing to say the very least, it wasn't even hard to find an image of both the DMI & HMI on Google...

If I was to guess, I’d say they have a template & they can only slot things into specific areas on it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if you went through all the ICE’s too and found that every one of these digital screens have graphics in the same place.
