Dale Charman’s channel is such a gem honestly, plenty of reference there for developers if the Piccadilly Line is to be made for TSW
I absolutely admire his channel. Great insight. I agree that his references would really benefit the DTG franchise if they were to make the Picadilly Line.
I'd take and pay for any LU route on day one! With The Goblin being as good as it is, it shown what Bakerloo was lacking back in the day, more life. If not a completely new LU route, I'd be grateful for Bakerloo remaster, with more layers of traffic - all that dead railway on the overground section is a bummer.
I had a slight theory that the Dovetail Direct could be based on a game made by DTG based on the London Underground network but I think that is unrealistic and it is almost certainly going to be TSW5
If you’ve seen and believe the leaks, a WCML South with a Bakerloo Line upgrade is on the cards so possibly something to look forward to in the next few months.
I would rather something with the new Siemens trains. Would offer a new driving experience. Maybe an add on for this with them? Similar use case as the 380 on cathcart. New timetable and all
The Siemens train is still undergoing testing in Germany and hasn’t arrived in London yet, I understand what you mean though the 1973 Stock feels quite different to drive compared to the 1972 Stock even though they may look a bit similar externally, both trains have entirely different braking systems and the Piccadilly Line trains have a cab door, as well as the first version of an onboard computer on a tube train.
The new Siemens trains look amazing however I think it would be incredible to recreate the 1973 stock as they are glorious trains which must not be forgotten about when they are replaced
Having watched a few of Dale’s videos I have to agree that the Piccadilly Line would be a good route to make for TSW. It may be too big an undertaking though. DTG said at the time they did Bakerloo that it was the most challenging route they had ever done and this would be a much bigger job. They do have a good relationship with TfL and I’m sure they would have no problem getting all the resources and references they would require to make any route on their networks so that part of it shouldn’t be what stops them making another LU route. It would be down to dev time and how popular it would be and DTG will know how big a task it would be and how popular it would be based on player numbers for Bakerloo. I reckon I would like driving the 1973 stock.
Agree but we all know that almost every underground line is quite popular . I believe nothing is impossible for DTG
They definitely should as both stock would be great especially before the 1973 gets removed and as the signal.upgrade will not happen for a bit so the 2024 stock is manual driven.the Bakerloo and Piccadilly are the only fully manual like line at the moment and we already have one of them so its time for the pic. But I think they would do the 1973 or 2024 as base and then sell the other one as dlc later on e.g 1938 stock dlc. As I also live on the pic it would be cool to see my local station
