Long Island Rail Road Service Mode Overhaul
One of the major problems with the Long Island Rail Road dlc is the service mode timetable, which does not accurately represent the LIRR and feels incomplete. Here are some suggestions for improving the timetable:
    • Atlantic Terminal: The only services from Atlantic Terminal run to Vanderbilt Yard next to the station or to Hempstead. In reality services run from Atlantic Terminal to across the LIRR network so services to Jamaica (where the AI would take over to take the train south) and to Hicksville (where the AI would take the train to Ronkonkoma) should be added to make it more realistic and varied.
    • Hunterspoint Avenue: M7 services also run to Hunterspoint Avenue, as featured in the first scenario, 'Change at Jamaica'. However, services to and from Hunterspoint Avenue are also not included in service mode, something which should also be added to create more variety.
    • New York Penn: Services from New York Penn to Jamaica (where the AI would continue south) should also be added to increase the realism on the route. Services for the Port Washington branch are included, so why aren't these?
    • Depot Runs: There aren't any depot runs from Westside yard, Long Island City or Hillside yard making the timetable even less realistic. The yards at Jamaica, Hillside and Long Island City are also empty and have no stored trains making the route feel empty.
    • Express or Local service: It is also impossible to distinguish an express or local service from the select service screen. This means that when selecting a service from New York Penn to Hicksville for instance, you could randomly get either one stop at Jamaica or a stop at most stations. A way of distinguishing these services would be good.
    • Amtrak: Amtrak carriages were shown in one of the promotional images on Facebook however they aren't featured in the service mode timetable. Having Amtrak trains as AI in New York Penn and at Sunnyside Yard would also help to increase the realism and busy feel to the route

There are some services that start in West Side Yard.

They should add The Dm30ac Double decker C3 Cab Cars onto TSW in the future along with a expansion pack of Port Jefferson and Montauk.
