Has anyone completed this ? I have tried three times, get right to the end uncoupling the last five tankers, then the game crashes every time. Very frustrating ....... Have verified game files - all OK. Thanks.
Crashed on me once, when I was uncoupling the last 5 cars I noticed the buffers were going crazy with a metal clunking sound. So on the second retry I tried to stretch the train after stopping, to make sure the buffers were well clear of each other. Worked that time. I also uncoupled it from the right side, where the platform is.
Tried it again, did what you suggested, and it worked ! Thanks very much for your help, it's a pity that Dovetail couldn't fix the buffers bug themselves.
I too have experienced this problem in recent days (September 2022). Was able to finish the scenario by uncoupling the last five cars at the top of the hill. Thanks to those who suggested this. Submitted ticket regarding this: Get consist to Lohr; leave loco; uncouple last five wagons; then on way to hand over to next driver, game crashes. Unreal engine crash report has been sent. Tried twice in the last two days, but unable to complete. I see chatter on the forums that this has been happening since June this year. Is there a fix in the works, or are we to be left with parts of the game which simply do not work? Reply came back to check drivers , verify files all the usual stuff............... My reply to that was this: well I guess that answers the question, 'are we to be left with parts of the game which simply do not work?' in the affirmative. As I stated in the original, this has been mentioned in the forums as late as August 2022.
