DTG. Fixez votre s ... :furieux:[/ QUOTE]
So we're a good 6-7 months since this was first reported and STILL, there are red light issues which are stopping us completing the Journey mode services on DB88119 Gemünden-Aschaffenburg and DB86109 Aschaffenburg-Gemünden.
I'm also still waiting for my All In Order trophy to pop.
TrainSim-Dmitri Any idea when these things will be sorted? Surely they can't be that big a thing to fix.
Factor41 ok 6 or 7 month prochain un DB88119 Gemünden-Aschaffenburg et DB86109 Aschaffenburg-Gemünden mieux?
I think, DTG puts too much more effort in the release of new DLC, then in fixing longtime already known and very annoying bugs.
There are 3 options to fix this issue:
- fix the bugs (optimal)
- replace the bugged journey missions with unbugged missions (semi-optimal)
- remove the bugged missions (suboptimal)
I don't care, which option they choose. I JUST WANT TO COMPLETE THE JOURNEY MISSIONS.
Besides, those bugs are not MSB only.
I'm having a small issue with the BR146.2 tutorial that I just wanted to do for mastery points: When it tells me to wait for the brake systems to charge, I wait. One minute, two minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes... nothing happens, I can't finish it.
Is that a known bug or something wrong on my end? Platform is PC.
It happened to me as well. The BR 185.2 tutorial works fine.
I have exactly same issue with 146.2 tutorial. Brakes won't charge. But for some reason wipers start when I switch the cabin on - probably they are started instead of the compressor by some error. I don't care about the tutorial that much, but it interferes with running the journey mode, except for selecting scenarios individually.
Edit: I have managed to get around this particular bug. After getting to the "wait for the brakes to charge" order, I switched to the free camera (3), went to the control car at the other end of the train, opened its door, moved the camera towards the cabin (it's a bit tricky, if you hit the wall or ceiling, you'll jump outside and have to try again), and then performed the starting sequence of that cabin as per manual. Then went back to the driver's view, and suddenly the mission progressed. One thing to remember is to switch the reverser in the control cab back to "Off" before moving out. I did not think about it originally, and discovered that the train could barely reach a few km/h, but eventually figured it out, and switched the reverser looking through the window of the cab car, when on the move.
Thank you Adam, after fiddling around a few times in the rear cab I managed to get it to register the brakes as charged. Annoyingly the tutorial was already complete but needed doing again to get past the Continue Journeys UI. DTG definitely need to fix this.
Matt said that there is a fix for that tutorial coming soon.
Many things are coming "soon".
The bugfix for BR146.2 tutorial
Fixed ATCES on NYCNY
A German diesel locomotive
The next ice age
A better skybox
Working destination displays for all trains in TSW
A US heavy freight route for console players (not that I cared)
Mankind's first colony on Mars
TSW's first 100 kilometer route
The Sun becoming a red giant
The TSW Editor
Possibly even in that particular order.
I'm sure he also said that DTG would end war, famine and pestilence on a stream somewhere. Can't find it now.
Think he also said “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” but that might have been a different Matt.
Matt said this, Matt said that..
Just words I don't think he believes what he's saying really.
Did you know female dragons fake their own deaths to avoid having sex with annoying male dragons..
Humans too actually!
(That got dark quickly...)
There's an easier way around the BR146.2 tutorial. Hit the first objective marker, but don't touch the one in the loco. First, power one the loco, then set your reverse to neutral. Let the brakes charge, then get back out of the seat and hit the marker. It will instruct you to power on the loco, just turn it off and on again, carry on with the tutorial and it should skip the part of the charging the brakes.
I also came here to report a bug at Laufach station. After going to the underground walkway passage, you can't walk back up the stairs. If you've saved before going down, you can just exit to the main menu and reload the save. But if like me, you don't save that often because you didn't expect so many bugs, then you've got yourself into a bit of a sticky situation.
You can get back out though. It requires walking backwards (or forwards, but its easier backwards) and then spamming the crouch key when an AI character walks into you. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but after a few attempts, they'll glitch you onto the stairs.
If that makes no sense, I also made a short video demonstrating the bug (hopefully DTG can use it to figure out the issue) and show how to get out.
Or, they could give us the ability to jump and it wouldn't be much of an issue.
I had the same bug, but ended up quitting out. Nice to know there's a way out if I make the mistake of going in there again!
Missing textures on a building in Gemünden: Am I the only one experiencing this?
Could you edit your missing textures shots to include arrows pointing to them or perhaps circles around them?
They love a good winter snow tower in Gemünden!
Can do so in the future. For now, I'm talking about the blank white tower/spire thing.
(Just in case you were not being sarcastic)
There are more buildings in Gemünden without textures in winter, for example the castle on the hill. I reported it after release as ticket to DTG. But honestly i would not expect a fix for this.
Red light bug
Journey DB 86109 Aschaffenburg - Gemünden at 9:59:00
It's happening before Laufach station. There is a AI loco sitting and doing nothing.
I think the loco that is stuck is meant to return to the siding there. However, the scenario instruction does not clear the appropriate signals to let this happen.
I have had the same issue with this service as well took pictures of everything possible and submitted them in a ticket a while back. Still waiting for them to fix it.
Someone has already mentioned a solution. Enter the game at 09:55 without a train, wait until DB 86109 arrives, get in and take control. Then everything is fine.
Doesn't help for Journey mode, though.
and it's not another game bug? when I have a ride done and not done in a journey. For this reason, I do not care journey.
How does one send a support ticket, when I looked up DTG support I see no option for PS4 for the OS
It's completely unintuitive but you need to click "Train Sim World (PC)" and it then displays options for "Xbox One" and "Playstation 4".
I'm playing on the PS4 and stuck on the BR 146.2 introduction where you have to wait for the brake system to charge. It just stays there forever. Tried restarting more than 20 times and it's still the same. Please help
Thanks but didn't work for me. Have already tried restarting the tutorial like 20 times no cigar though
Thanks Adam, unfortunately it didn't work for me. Been stuck on this tutorial for a while now. Keep waiting for the brakes to charge but nothing happens!
There is a fix coming for that.
Are you the unofficial spokesperson for DTG?
No. Matt said that.
He forgot to mention the year the fix is coming.
Probably with the next update.
Looks like these are finally fixed, according to the PS4 Updates thread, so MSB Journey mode can now be completed!
As I said.
146.2 introduction still bugged for me. This time got no power when activating throttle.
It's because the pantograph never goes up. I'm not hugely impressed by this "bug fix" - to release a route where the first tutorial isn't complete-able, then fix it so it's broken in a different way....
I have run this tutorial a few times, granted, when the route first came out and never had any problem with it... I must have been doing something wrong.
Video of the tutorial bug. Essentially the pantograph doesn't go up, so it's impossible to supply power, but it will roll slowly when the brakes are removed.
Obviously it's possible that I'm doing something wrong, but if that's the case the tutorial shouldn't keep going, and the tutorial shouldn't lock things down so much that it's impossible to fix. I've actually found the tutorials to be one of the buggiest bits of TSW because when things don't work the controls are so locked that there's no way to work out why or to correct it.
Edit: An alternative way of putting it might be: the purpose of the tutorial is to teach us how to do things, not be challenging and punish mistakes. Therefore, even if I'm doing something wrong it's still a bug.
Afaik you need pressure to raise the pentograph maybe you have to fill a pressure reservoir beforehand. To be honest I'm currently on mobile but will watch the video later today!
I think you're right - thanks. If I stop and wait for the pressure gauges to finish moving then I can raise the pantograph. However: this is a bug with the tutorial, not me. It doesn't mention anything about the pressure now. It marks the pantograph as "up" by use of the switch, rather than the pantograph actually raising and if you use the switch and it doesn't raise then you're stuck because the switch is then locked. It should not be possible to break a tutorial just by following the instructions quickly.
Trenomarcus tagged because this might tell you how to get passed it too.
