Maintalbahn: The Most Underappreciated Route In Tsw History?

I'll take your word for it.
I've never been outside the airports in Germany passing through on trips to other countries.

Is the 294 the same thing as the DH4 (more or less) in Derail Valley?
It's said to be based on the V90...which is what the 294 was... or a modification of it or something?
They look similar if not identical.
Have had lots of fun tooling around with the DH4 in DV =-)

To be honest, that was what I thought of with the Maintalbahn description so long ago because it was short rural unelectrified route with local freight, etc. It reminded me of DV.
