    Thought i do a little run on this route this morning and god its so blurry. When this was released it never had blurriness no its awful what is going on.

    What are you playing it on? I'm on PC and not had any issues in recent runs.

    Xbox series x thats probably why console has problems.

    Ok. Weird that series x has that issue and ps5 doesn't.

    In the 323 when you turn the passenger lights of the destination board at the front off the train switches off as well should it do that.

    Did a run in the 390 last night and I’ve never seen so much lag spikes, fps drops and stutters throughout the route. It’s definitely one of the worse performing routes on console currently.

    And still no fix for the Voyager either (randomly spawning at different stations when starting your route and not in your train).

    PS5 Pro.
    What I really need to do is replay the same service and record a video. I will do that soon, plus name the TT service in question as it might not be the case for other services.

    Hello, just wanting to ask as the northern 323s go from Manchester airport to Blackpool shouldn't it be a 6 car 323 instead of the standard 3 car?? Cause in real life u see 6 car 323s more. If so i would like to see that get added so its abit more realistic.

    They used a 2018 TT, so the 323 will be a stand in for 319’s etc which weren’t double sets, so that’s likely why we only see 3 car 323’s.

    Though considering they are using 323’s and have some…questionable layers, yeah I’d like to see them doubled up.

    considering getting this on xbox series x, is it worth it? i’m a bit put off by the reports of blurry textures/lagging and no section to crewe but the variety and gameplay seems really good

    On PS5 pro I’ve noticed blurry textures once in 98 services, it was on a 220 service around 6pm. Since then though (probably about 20/30 services after) I haven’t noticed any. I think just dropping the rather jarring 350 & SR158 layers would probably get rid of that risk too.

    Performance is pretty typical, you’ll get a couple of places where it notably stutters, such as approaching Manchester past the IC depot, but overall it’s fine. Has some places where it dips between 30-60, but mostly you’ll be up at 60fps.

    It’s a nice route, fun services & if you like the 323, it’s a good alternative for BCC where you’d be stuck playing for over an hour. You’ve obviously got the various 390, 220 & TFW 150/153 runs. I really don’t like the SR158 & LNR 350 layer though, I get what they were going for but honestly they should have just substituted them with something else, they just look too out of place for regular services IMO - of course you can turn them off though.

    The main issues I have with the route are 1) it’s really short, as I said in another thread, it’s bittersweet because it’s a really good route, just let down by its length & you’ll really feel that when you have a service that ends at Stockport. 2) the XC 220 services are so buggy, half the time you’ll just spawn at a random station with no train.

    There is also some inconsistencies with the station announcements, if that would bother you. They just randomly stop playing at times. There are overall some other issues, but other than the above there’s nothing that will jump out at you.

    True and tbh u do see them doubled up on the "sunday timetable" but then again If they are like u said substituted in for the class 319s I would like to see them being added aswel one day to.

    I was actually looking for a cab ride of this route, but couldn’t find one. Appreciate it.
    Insane though. How does that get the green light through testing.

    Not sure if it’s even worth reporting because it appears this route seems to be long forgotten. However,

    service 1N52: Manchester Airport to Preston is bugged. It loads then immediately says the service has failed as a signal was passed at danger.

    Got the same result on PC.

    Only way around it is to spawn in at Manchester Airport at 6.35 and walk to the train and take over the service. Can confirm that way works as driving it at the moment.

    More quality and attention from ATS. As originally laid I believe the trains were side swiping each other. Now it has Hornby 2nd radius curves. Exactly why I didn't buy it and yet again DTG just waved it (and the "fix") through QA to keep the money rolling in. Surely it would have been better to keep the original track layout but just set up the signalling to prevent two trains passing each other on that section. Or better still, should have been done properly in the first place - the route builder(s) themself(ve)s should have called snagging on it.

    Currently it’s missing all announcements on trains and platforms.
    Reported on PS5 and PC. Hope it gets fixed, as I’ve only just bought it, and that’s disappointing.

    So they added train and station announcements back in October last year... Now they aren't working on PC Steam, I've been doing my nut trying to find which mod was causing it! DTG Alex DTG Harry please can this be looked into I tried to do a support ticket but the website is down it's giving me a 404 error.

    Honestly it's less "one step forward and two steps back" and more "one half step forward and five steps back" when it comes to TSW... I'd normally blame DTG but ATS aren't exactly a great purveyor of fine content...

    It is frustrating! The announcements where added in an update back in September last year but it looks like the dlc or the core was updated in recently and it's gotten broken... So nothing new there with DTG breaking more things with each update.
