Hello Dovetail Games and the Train Sim World community, I am a passionate Train Sim World player from Türkiye, and I would like to suggest a route that I would absolutely love to see in Train Sim World 7 or a future Train Sim World release: Istanbul's Marmaray commuter railway. I have been playing Train Sim World for many years and have followed the series throughout its development. I own Train Sim World 2020, Train Sim World 2, Train Sim World 3, Train Sim World 4, Train Sim World 5, Train Sim World 6 and Train Sim World 7, as well as many additional DLCs. As a long-time player and a fan of the series, it would be incredibly exciting for me to finally see a Turkish railway represented in Train Sim World. Marmaray is one of Istanbul's most important railway systems. It connects the European and Asian sides of Istanbul through the Bosphorus Rail Tube Tunnel, making it one of the world's most unique commuter railway systems. A possible Marmaray route could cover the Halkalı – Gebze corridor, featuring the urban railway environment of Istanbul, underground sections, stations on both sides of the Bosphorus, and the unique experience of travelling between two continents by train. I believe this could bring something genuinely different to Train Sim World and introduce players around the world to Türkiye's railway system and Istanbul's unique transportation network. I would also like to make a special request regarding announcements. If Marmaray were ever developed for Train Sim World, I would love to see occasional, realistic Marmaray-style passenger announcements during the journey. Ideally, announcements could be available in both Turkish and English. They would not need to play constantly. For example, they could be used when approaching stations, departing from stations, or for important passenger information. This would add a huge amount of authenticity and atmosphere to the route. As a player from Türkiye, being able to drive a Marmaray train through Istanbul in Train Sim World would honestly be a dream come true. I understand that creating a completely new country, railway system, route and rolling stock is a major undertaking. However, I sincerely hope Marmaray can be considered for a future Train Sim World release.
