So the frosted glass issue means there is a mod installed somewhere, that is editing the train. Either a PIS/Suspension/Lighting/Lod mod usually.

Please check in "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 6\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC" for a pak file that isn't official.

Here are a few small issues I’ve noticed so far with both of the 375s:
    1. This is an existing issue from previous electrostar variants in the game- the TPWS switch is still the wrong way round (inverted). When you switch it to normal, it goes to isolate and vice versa.
    2. The DRA should stay illuminated even when a cab is shut down, (key out, reverser off) however the light goes off.
3.Someone has also already mentioned this but there’s a small bug with the GSMR where the last number has a strange line next to it/and or gets stretched.
    4. Not an issue but would be nice to see the smaller toilet on the /6 modelled (maybe something for the future) aswell as the accessible one ;).
    5. Also not an issue but something I’m surprised about is the lack of posters and maps on the train- bit strange there isn’t any seeing there’s loads of SE posters at stations, really makes the interior look more alive and nice, so would welcome that in the future :).

    PS5 Pro
Amazing map, Tonebridge 40FPS, Strood 55 FPS, the rest of the way practically 60FPS, and then it doesn't work.
I tried running the original SEH and Strood only 35FPS. (so a noticeable difference for the better)
Surface textures, objects, just great, overall it all looks natural. And sunlight and night lights, I have no words, it should look like that on all maps. So far I haven't encountered any texture blurring, so hopefully it will stay that way, and I have all layers active.

Number one has already been fixed internally, just need to get it into a patch now. I'll investigate number two and three.
Can't promise on four, but I'll put it to the team.
Five is a licensing issue I think.

Just finished one of the 700 night test runs & yeah, this is the night lighting we’ve been waiting on. Perfect balance between the older ‘light’ nights of ToD2 & the often blackness of ToD4. Being able to pick out distant towns & buildings etc by their lights is really good. The signal light casting is amazing too.

One thing this did highlight for me though is the suspension model on the 700 seems…off. It just sort of shakes really quickly when you pickup speed. I do play with 150% on the slider, but usually when that’s too much for a particular train, the result is just violent swaying, never had shaking before.

It might not be the same cause for you, but I had Laika's old orange PIS fix mod installed - !!Laika-OrangeUKPIS.pak - and removing it resolved the 'frosted' glass. That mod isn't listed on the TSC website now, so it's probably outdated.

I haven't yet found the cause of the crashing that I'm also experiencing, but I haven't tried the nuclear option of removing all my mods.

Can you please try deleting your engine.ini from: "Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld6\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor"

That's resolved most crashes so far.

I'd have sworn blind that I was playing this vanilla, found a TSW5 pak in there.
    !!!JetWash-TSW5-Train Lighting & LOD Fixes
Removed that and the frosted glass is gone, can't comment on if it has any effect on the crashes as I'm switching it off for the night. I did manage to have a 47 minute session of cocking about on foot and trying to guard on an Electrostar to see if that was an issue but it didn't crash and I got bored. Will try a run in the Electrostar tomorrow as a driver, see if it is ok now :)

EDIT: Just to add, I removed the engine.ini, obviously been distracted with the glass issue so not sure if the crashes has been resolved yet, will check in the morning, thanks for your help chaps :)

Just to add my two cents…
On a first drive through rock steady and even running at 4K on my GTX1650 was getting 25 to 30 FPS and that’s with shaders compiling. A couple of minor stutters at Maidstone and Paddock Wood but none of the sound squelching that plagues WCML Over Shap and some other routes.

I had an issue with GSM-R but that was user error/RTFM as for some reason the moron that I am had the relevant Expert options in the game settings turned off. Loading into a fresh run, the enhanced system worked as it should. Thanks to Adam/Fawx for advising on that one.

I like what’s been done with the Electrostar sounds, particularly the traction, flange squeal and bell/buzzer. Firefly should “do a deal” with DTG to back port these on to the existing Electrostars. Rivet take note - this is what metal wheels running on steel rails should sound like.

Even if you’re not a fan of stopping service routes or modern trains, this is well worth getting just to see what talented developers can do with TSW. Yes I’m sure many of us wish they’d done Fort William to Mallaig or Inverness to Perth, but you have to start somewhere and you will not be disappointed.

Thus far 10/10 from me and this plus the Czech route have put a happy smile on the face of TSW.

I feel like I've been spoilt. Great route, attention to detail is on a completely different level. There's a couple of small problems but I don't even care. Well done.

Having read this thread Disabling "objective Complete" Text Pop-up? | Dovetail Games Forums it seems that the user can't supress those messages, they're an option during the build of the timetable and impervious to any setting in the current TSW6 settings menu. I'd support a modification to the core to allow them to be turned off.
Interestingly, unlike in any other loco / unit I can think of, the position of the controls such as the 375/3's PBC will not show if 'Notifications' is turned off in the settings menu.

Just seen the announcement regarding the PC crashing, is there any update regarding the PS5 audio issue for the 375?

Graphically exceptional, it runs perfectly on Xbox Series X without the slightest hesitation. The only downside is that it looks very overexposed and washed out, more than the TSW average.

Have to say, this is a brilliant route. Love the attention to details, and the team including things that DTG couldn't such as the functioning GSMR. Absolutely zero major issues either, even on Series S.
