Unfortunately, the smoothness of the animation on the Medway Valley Line has dropped significantly for me in TSW7. And no, I haven’t set the graphics to ‘epic’ settings. In TSW6, I only noticed mild stuttering between Strood and Cuxton and when approaching Maidstone West. The rest of the route was perfectly smooth. In TSW7, despite stable FPS (above 60 FPS), I’m seeing mild stuttering along almost the entire route, while around Strood and Maidstone West the stuttering is so severe that not only the visuals but even the sound get cut out. This doesn’t mean the route is no longer playable, but the driving experience has noticeably suffered. In TSW7, I’m really only interested in the real-time weather (the train guard simulation is built into the Class 375 model anyway, so I don’t use the one in TSW7), so worst-case scenario, I’ll revert to TSW6. But perhaps there’s something that can be done about it?
No way!!! I haven’t driven the 375 yet on Medway but I have done a 700 run and the route on PS5 is far more stuttering.
Just tried Medway Valley also, can confirm the motor sounds are missing from the 375’s. Performance was fine on the SEHS section of the route, but took a free roam service from Strood for a couple of miles & had near constant FPS fluctuation. This is also on PS5.
