Even after having done a few routes I've noticed so many things that are wrong with the midland mainline. Many of the speed limits are accurate on the HUD but are not physically signposted, on the 158 passengers keep standing infront of the cab door and BLOCKING YOU FROM ENTERING THE CAB. Heading south toward syston on the slows, yes the speed limit goes down to 20mph. But it does in the opposite direction which it shouldn't as it's perfectly straight track. The PIS boards show trains bound for London as only terminating at leicester, you can't climb up the gangway door to enter the 158 from the front, you can't even sit in the seats on the HST. I could go on. If I'm perfectly honest, the route is a complete disappointment as it costs £30 and for that price we have reasonable expectations for something that has had time and effort put into it. What we get is a rushed and buggy route which clearly hasn't been tested for glitches like this and does not live up to the standard of its price AT ALL.
Not sure how you missed this, but: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/midland-mainline-skyhook-feedback.69452/
They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. DTG have taken that and turned it into: don't judge a route by the release bugs. There's always a big patch coming after the release. And they do mean always. Just check the roadmap.
encountered this near Nottingham station I think... at first I thought, ok, there are three tracks meeting, right... but then I went into photo mode and checked and it is regular switch lol... I mean, this looks like derail situation heh
There is no fix for this problem! Skyhook ask DTG to help but its impossible to fix this. They have make this bug and build further and now with everything in place there is no way to fix without remove to much stuff
Ah, I just sent a bug report about this last night. Wish I had seen this thread a little earlier, but oh well, they'll have another reminder now.
well, that happens... there is a ton of things in content I have been playing for a long time and then bam, one day when playing this or that DLC I notice some oddity or other stuff I havent noticed before, and usually then I cant help myself and research it for hours on end
e.g. today I am checking how BR101 (German) should behave upon clearing a neutral section ... cos apparently my head doesnt have better stuff to think about lol
