Steam Missing Compatible Content On Steam

Missing Rhein Ruhr Osten, BR 155 and BR 182

 

Please DTG lets not have a TSW5 in a years time. Having to download all your content again is a nightmare and a complete and utter mess. I started redownloading all my content last night, living in the countryside, I have a slow internet and by mid morning a third had downloaded 66gb. Unfortunately there was a power cut and I have had to start my downloads again. Would it not have been simpler to have had an upgrade to TSW3 to save everybody’s harassment!

 

I would like to know what has changed in all the legacy DLC to warrant having to redownload it all. There may indeed be a good reason, but I would genuinely like to know what it is.

 

what is going on we still not had a fix even the 628.2 red one that was meant for the S-Bahn Vorarlberg is missing also says i have to buy the DLC's i owned again like CN Oakville and NEC NY -Trenton this is a pure joke and not happy at all (PC Steam)

 

Steam is also showing I don't own NEC Trenton (but shows I do for TSW3). This is extremely disappointing as its been nearly 24 hours since full release and one of the highly promised updates coming with TSW4 launch.

I really wanted to try out the new timetable before work today, but I guess that won't be happening now. Its not a good look to hype up the big timetable release only for customers to not be able to access it. What I don't understand is why some people have been playing it since yesterday with no issues but not all of us. I can't remember, but was there a bundle or something with the Acela at launch?

First post on DTG's forums, I had to make an account to post here (that makes sense) since Valve's support page is just automated and if it doesn't help you by step 3, they tell you to complain to the developer directly on their forums.

For me, these seven DLC are not working;

- Northeast Corridor: New York - Trenton
- LIRR M3 EMU Add-On
- Caltrain MP15DC Diesel Switcher Loco Add-On
- Canadian National Oakville Subdivision: Hamilton - Oakville Route Add-On
- Caltrain MP36PH-3C Baby Bullet Loco
- Peninsula Corridor: San Francisco - San Jose Route Add-On
- Long Island Rail Road: New York - Hicksville Route Add-On

By not working I mean that I have these seven DLC for TSW3 (and therefore I should for TSW4) - but their updated versions (TSW4) haven't been made available, yet. Going by previous posts it seems that LIRR and the Caltrain (& possibly CN) routes are the most affected.

 

i have no idea what i can say about that maybe uninstall game or buy again this money its well cost im not 100% sure what we can do we are stuck if they give us update again icant say that its possible

 

I too am facing an issue where 2 of my previous DLCs from TSW3 are missing in TSW4 These are:-

• Rhein Ruhr Osten
• Rapid Transit
  
• Pls fix this DTG

 

I'm sure it'll get fixed, just like last year. As someone mentioned earlier, Valve is having to resolve the issue of missing DLC's. The problem there? As far as I'm aware, Valve is located on the west coast of America. So, taking time zones in to consideration, it's still only 7:40am in the morning at this point. I'm assuming we'll have to wait several more hours for either more information or a fix.

I had hoped for better communication from Dovetail today regarding this matter though. Unfortunately, today Dovetail has not been very forthcoming as to when a fix will be rolled out. Disappointing.

After reviewing my DLC from TSW3, I can tell that I am missing the following in TSW4

DLC 64

I was really looking forward to the NEC NY Trenton updated timetable.

 

I'm missing the NEC NY to Trenton DLC. When will Steam update my content? I have this route for TSW 3.

 

Here Here! The next installation of TSW I want to see is when it's upgraded via UE5, I don't care if that's in 5yrs time! Everything in TSW4 could of been done in TSW3 and everything in TSW3 could of been done in TSW2

 

Another oddity in addition to the missing DLC listed in my earlier post, About half of my service completions, be gold silver or bronze are not listed. I do have my new platinums. ...

Wonder how long shall we wait? It's pitty that we pay for a new build with a promise of compatibility and we don't get what we paid for.

I already deleted TSW3 few days ago, knowing that I will have to download DLC's again after all...

I am still missing £175 worth of DLC's. Better communication with your customer base might be a worthwhile idea. An official update as to the current state of play would be appreciated.

 

Still missing the 20, 31, and 33 - was hoping this would have been a quick fix
On the plus side, Free Roam and the PC Editor are massive wins. Want my old diesels back soon though!

Something's just incoming here



... It's a core update, TS2Prototype-WindowsNoEditor.pak and TrainSimWorld.exe got updated. No missing DLC update though.

 

No missing content has turned up with this patch here. At least we know that Valve are in the office now!

 

Those are exactly the addons I am missing, I have noticed others seem to be mentioning the same addons so I think it is definitely on the distribution end (Steam) rather than any individual owner's account.

It is a little unfortunate as I was eager to test out if Blue Star cross compatibility was implemented with the 20, 31, 33, 37, 40 & 45 since it wasn't so easy to do so in TSW 3. I could try with the 37, 40 and 45 but I also seem to have an issue with it crashing when placing stock down though that is on a different thread.

 

So just an update on this one, the New York - Trenton route did download a little bit later that evening
Only ones that are still out standing are the 3 BR Class Models listed in the post above.

Judging from some other posts, I can see I am not the only one missing those 3, so there must be a common factor with these.

 

They should be, it's 10:48am in Bellevue WA.

 

I jumped a little when i say the update just now but nope,nothing. I just hope this gets solved at some point.

my class 20 and 31 where purchased as a TSW2 bundle Starter Edition - UK version. - maybe that has something to do with those two currently missing?

As for my class 33, i honestly cant think why its missing as i purchased that as a standalone yet its missing like the other 2....wonder what the common factor is with this one as well.

7GB update for only Rhine Rhur Osten, but still missing everything else from earlier.

No more missing content for me. Everything is there. I was missing LIRR, M3,CalTrain, MP36 and MP15.

Can confirm, All compatible content has been added from TSW3

 

Next update downloading... must be LIRR, and there's even a 3 GB TSW2020 update in the queue, wonder what that is?!? Don't break that one, I thought it was safe from harm!!!

 

I might get chance to find out if it's all come through for me around 11pm...

Nothing has changed for me since the update about an hour ago.

Because that was only an update addressing CC issues.

 

I'm still missing the BR Class 20 on Steam!

 

Now almost 26 hours after launch, finally my DLCs are complete. LIRR, M3, 204 and MP15DC are here. Case closed for me.

DTG JD Still worried about the pending 3.0 GB TSW2020 update. Not installed yet.

Edit: I see, having only SPG+GP40-2 and NEC installed on TSW2020, Steam wants to install LIRR, M3, 204 and MP15 there. I've unticked it, all is ok.

 

It looks as though all my DLC's have finally been downloaded and installed. Possibly time to remove TSW 3 from the SSD it's on?

DTG JD Thanks to all those who worked on resolving this issue. Can you tell us what the cause of this problem was?

I thought it was missing but it now seems to have popped its head up in my routes and list of loco's. Everything I own is now installed.
