    They're real, or at least were real -- they were discontinued in December, 2025.

    Prior to that, the train pair 1204 and 1205 (named Karwendel) and 1206/1207 (named Wetterstein) operated with ICE-Ts on the route between Innsbruck and Garmisch.

    "Normal" ICEs don't run this line, they use the main line to Innsbruck via Rosenheim. But I believe DB runs a train pair, I think ICE-Ts, on Saturdays and Sundays as sightseeing trains
