I promise I’m not on commission from JetWash but their lighting mod really shows off the route! Brilliant!
Definitely great to gear all the nice comments, and that the route is still being worked on with feedback actively getting listened to (thanks Adam!). One thing that slightly worries me are the comments about the PS5 crashing issues still being present, considering the rest of the game basically never crashes for me. That being said, I’m busy with my new purchase (Blackpool!) for the time being, so I can wait for future updates/patches no problem
One of my faves. Hopeful it continues to get love and maybe an extension at some point. Very much looking forward to Cargo Line Vol 2- please keep them coming!
MML has definitely come a long way from it's sketchy launch - I love all the improvements that Skyhook have done and are continuing to add to it! Put me in the extension crowd, I'd love to see this route be something that grows over time. It could even benefit from alternative timetables, such as a post HST. There's a lot of room to develop this one. I do wish Rivet would follow Skyhook's example and improve Fife Circle in the same manner, it could really use this sort of treatment.
I'd like to add my appreciation for this route, and Skyhook's work on it. Obviously it didn't release in great shape, but the improvements have been considerable, and delivered in a timely manner, with good comms meanwhile. It goes to show the importance of post-release support.
Looks like there will be more things to do on the ever improving Midland Mainline route This is from Mountsorrel loading facilities, which load the wagons with aggregate materials.
MML is the route I play the most and liked Carol Line 1 was a day 1 purchase and so will Cargo Line 2. My one small wish is for Toton sidings to be complete and accessible as the main building is just a white block currently. There is scop for shunting wagons there too making MML even more immersive.
Well the tracks are there, so that would make it ‘easier’ to bring it up to scratch. Maybe they’re waiting for a Class 60 to drop so we can have ten in a row, rotting away, for ultra realism at Toton!
Probably my most go to route at the moment, lots of variety and looks great even on my PS4. As others have said it is just the door closing timing issues that are a bit of a pain!
Do we know if this is scenarios only as the article implied? Would be a nice addition into service mode as we got with PFRs loading
Hiya, The included scenarios take you through available gameplay and then plenty of timetable services leave you to become immersed in the experience.
MML is one of my favourite routes, and also the 158 overlay on ECML. SHG have absolutely shown how to do it, and that gives me confidence to buy anything else they release on day one. I'll happily buy everything JT and SHG release.
Here is another angle of the updated aggregates loader at Mountsorrel to support the Cargo Line Aggregates gameplay which takes place here.
I really am liking the look of this DLC! Can I be really cheeky though Adam and just ask, roughly, how many extra timetable services it adds, as I can't remember seeing a number in the roadmap/Skyhook articles.
I believe the full extent of gameplay provided in both the updated MML and Cargo Line Vol.2 Aggregates DLC will be announced closer to release.
