I skimmed through the trainsimcommunity page and found that Will has recently uploaded a mod that adds some PIS to IOW, as well as a functioning hovercraft! According to the description it travels to portsmouth and back, taking 15 minutes of travel time and waiting for 15 minutes before leaving. I did not expect such a mod to be possible! Wow, that's amazing. Downloaded, will try it out as soon as the LIRR patch drops and I reinstall TSW2.
Brings back memories of the Ts Iow. And of riding in those noisy things. Definitely a must have addon.
Unfortunately I had no time to test it yesterday, but I will soon as possible. Pis is one thing - but just the addition of a hovercraft that is actually moving adds so much and makes the area around the pier more lively. Also I am quite impressed that it was possible to add such a thing by modding!
