Hi everyone, With the upcoming release of Train Sim World 7 and the introduction of the fantastic ICE 4 (BR 412), the excitement surrounding modern German high-speed rail is higher than ever. Looking ahead, I think a natural next step would be to expand the modern German ICE fleet with members of the ICE 3 family. In particular, it would be fantastic to eventually see both the Velaro D (BR 407) and the brand-new ICE 3neo (BR 408) in Train Sim World. If only one of these trains could be developed initially, I believe the ICE 3neo (BR 408) would be an especially exciting choice. As one of DB's newest and most advanced ICE trains, it would bring a very modern high-speed experience to the game and would be a fantastic addition alongside the ICE 4. Of course, these trains would be even more impressive when paired with dedicated high-speed infrastructure. Two routes that I think would be perfect candidates for future DLC are: * Schnellfahrstrecke Erfurt–Nürnberg – A spectacular piece of modern railway engineering, featuring numerous tunnels, viaducts and challenging sections that would make for an excellent high-speed route. * Schnellfahrstrecke Köln–Rhein/Main – Perhaps one of the most iconic high-speed routes in Germany, with its steep gradients, extensive tunnels and sections allowing ICE trains to reach speeds of up to 300 km/h. It would be an ideal playground for an ICE 3. Whether these trains were introduced as part of a new high-speed route, released as a standalone train DLC, or eventually made available for existing compatible routes, I think they would add a huge amount of value and variety to the modern German railway experience in TSW. The combination of the ICE 4 (BR 412), ICE 3neo (BR 408) and Velaro D (BR 407) would create an incredibly strong modern ICE fleet and would give players the opportunity to experience several generations of DB's high-speed trains.
