I think that Dovetail should acknowledge the community-made mods and add them to the game if they believe that the mods deserve to be implemented these can be subtle, like updated idling sounds for the class 66. But they should also inform us of the updates being made.
Good idea. They can add a centralized, in-game hub for downloading user created and third party content right along with the editor. Oh wait...
