Greetings, once again, some people might noticed that my old thread is closed, this is due it gotten abit messy and you couldn't really look through it anymore. This is my new thread, I will try to keep it clean but same goes to you folks, please avoid any off-topic talks in thread, this will help new people to look through the stuff more easy, thanks. Updates will come as usual. The old thread will remain closed Current Projects that are Work in Progress: Locomotive Stuff: Br 612 Soundmod Sound Preview: Br 628 Enhancement Pack Working Mirrors: Sound Preview: Br 401 EP Remixing my Sounds. Video might come at some point Routes: Who knows? Future will tell
Some Sounds, I wonder what they will be used for... Also the 612 is is in its final steps before release, tho it will come out as a v0.5 since I still don't have proper recordings for the outside.
Man, the mirrors... That will be a huge improvement on the immersion. Looking forward to this specifically! (And also the working camera on the Vectron) Thanks for your efforts!
What about you guys don't clutter Maggus' post with your Taurus discussion, so poeple who are interested into his mods can read about that and not your Taurus talk?
Thanks Matin for the nice words. As he said, it would be nice if you don't clutter my haul thread wtih a nonsence conversation... I cant force you but it would be really great if you guys could remove the comments, so the thread would look more clean ^^ Also, there might be a mod releasing soon, stay tuned!
Exiting news everyone! The 612 EP is soon to be released... If you want a small sneak peak you can already watch the video made by Matin (on German only tho) Some small last minutes changes are still being done, like replacing some of the textures. The Mod will release on TrainSimCommunity and more infos will be stated there.
The 612 EP is out now https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c19-patches/i4134-br-612-enhancement-pack
hey Markus could you perhaps make tutorials on how to make a seperate variant and a reskin of a train without making a variant? I tried using Folezz' guide but I still have issues and can't make it work. maybe one issue is that I am doing it with an EMU while Folezz made a tutorial for a single locomotive only. ¯\_('-')_/¯
Could you explain how to mod things in the new editor, like how did you change the material for the br 628 mirror? PS: Sorry for "spamming" in your old post
All good haha. So the 628 mirrors are my one of a kind TSW4-Editor project and I only pulled it of with some help of my friend (I couldnt repeat it again) all the other stuff is still done in the Unofficial-Editor. If you want help with modding or start it, I would recommend you to join the TSC discord server
I would recommend asking Evolinox#6389 the person that actually created the mirrors, I’m sure he’ll be able to help you
Hello Folks, just a quick update since it been so quiet lately... The 612 soundmod is getting an update soon since I got some new sounds delivered! I am also working on some other projects currently like the ICE 1-EP but more news on that later.
https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c19-patches/i4134-br-612-enhancement-pack The update just dropped. Enjoy!
In terms of textures etc. it is pretty much done... Getting a new soundset it the problem right now, there arent any proper recordings that I can use and my new mic is still being shipped, so thats gonna probably take some time, sadly. But the project is still going to release, at some point. I might think about releasing it without sounds first and add them in later another update. But that's still to be discussed.
So quick fyi, my H4n finally arrived so I will probably go one some recording trips soon, stay tuned... For my projects: The 612 is about to get its final updates soon (including working mirrors) but more info will drop later. The 642 is now the next big project, maybe even in colab with other modders Thats it for now, I wish everyone a good day! small 642 sound preview:
Nice! I rented an H4 when I went to record some audio of the last two G-1 cars in Halton County, Ontario, back around 2007, when I was first going to do a subway route (for MSTS just to date myself.) Very good audio quality, I recommend 48 kHz, and downsampling in software if necessary. Better to record a little low than risk peaking.
Great news for anyone german, whose willing to learn how to soundmod! Due to the help of Matin I was able to make a short livestream about the basics you need to know if you are interessted in soundmodding for Train Sim World. The livestream should now be up as a video: https://www.youtube.com/live/SdFZ-9K-vGw?si=z2e4eHXNt0p9GsMf
Thank you and matinakbary again for the nice stream, yesterday. As I said in the stream, passenger announcements like Just Trains and Rivet Games did it were a thing I really would be interested in to learn. But yeah I guess not so easy to setup up the blueprint and audio cue system for that, as it probably kind of interact with some location markers in case it's automatic and then there is a message emitted at each location marker, maybe?!? No idea how one set up a manual announcement via a key or something like that.
