The Sifa indicator light in the cab of the BR 143 on Nahverkehr Dresen doesn't illuminate, both with and without instrument lighting. This, combined with the Sifa buzzer not sounding when the PZB buzzer is playing from acknowledging a signal, can lead to penalty braking without any warning.
