I thought I'd add another twist for a train ID game - this time exterior shots only, as we already have "Name the Cab" for interiors, with an international version here.

In case you haven't seen them, there's also "Where Am I?" competitions - UK and international versions.

And for real world railways, there's the Railway Quiz in the Off Topic subforum.

Anyway, back to Name that Train. Here's your starter for ten....

Well done, Peter. Toyed with the idea of cropping out the yellow door to make it a little harder.

It would have been a lot harder as the type of coupling is used on the 350,375,377 & 380 units.

I'm just going to throw this UK one in but its not on Steam - what Class is this

That model looks a bit dodgy, but I think that's a 82. Where you get that from? Is that yet another iron horse offering that will never see the light of day again?

As it's called "Name that train" I assume that includes coaching stock and wagons as well as locos or multiple units?

I was toying with the idea of calling it Name That Loco, but that would exclude multiple units, so stuck with train in an effort to cover both bases.

It's just the class number needed - whether loco or MU.

Anybody noticed the blue loco in the TS Splash screen - the one behind the forum and the one at startup of the game?

...you're thinking along the right lines though. It is not a BR livery, obviously.

    A few clues:

    Available on steam

Scenarios for this loco are specifically designed for a route that starts with 'W'.

    Not a Stanier design.

    Nope, not a clan class.

    Another Clue:
    Originally an LNER locomotive.
