Amtrak has another section of the NEC without cantonaries I’m VA that runs from Washington DC-Newport News, Norfolk, Roanoke Amtrak runs the Northeast Regional, Carolinian, Silver Star, Silver Meteor, and Auto Train the engine that would come with this route would be the Amtrak P40 Amfleet I coach’s Amfleet I Northeast Regional cafe and Viewliner baggage

For reference, territories past Washington and Boston is not considered the Northeast Corridor, anything in between DC and Boston is the NEC. Some of those routes would be cool though!

Just because the Northeast Regional runs on those lines, does not make it the NEC. Northeast Regionals also run on the New Haven-Springfield Line, but that's not considered the NEC either. Actually the tracks south of DC are owned by CSX, not Amtrak. I would like to see the line between Washington and Richmond though. Having traveled the line in person on the Silver Star, I must say it's really pretty, especially the section that runs along the Potomac River. You could also include a VRE train to go with it.

Marc doesn't run south of DC. Only CSX, Amtrak, and VRE.
