I agree DTG have to Make a profit but everything doesn't have to be expensive. In my opinion, I don't like how DTG are rushing their content when it's unfinished I hope moving forward DTG will give us better content

I hope DTG make separate bundles one for new players and the other for existing players with discounts

I personally think DTG should of include more for the price, and with what's available for TSW3. But it is what it is.

From what I have seen so far here on the forums, the UP liveries are horrible quality for paidware content.

A bussiness actually has to provide quality product to get money. We, as consumers, are not a charity either.

I wanted to get this livery pack, but seeing all the issues with it, I won't.

Way I look at it is for a tenner I get 6 scenarios and no timetable services which is about £1.67 a run. Now compared to the Acela which is £15 for 3 scenarios and 20 services (excluding NYT) so works out at 65p a run. Now let's compare to Glasgow Edinburgh, that's £30 but I get 5 scenarios and 224 runs (which is more than Trenton btw) so that's 13p a run.

Now my time is actually more limited then funds but being the tight Yorkshire man I am I'm still going to go for the more cost effective ways to spend my time.

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet (If you have then sorry about that)
NEC: New York-Trenton released yesterday, Here are my thoughts about it.

I have also noticed the horn and bell for the Acela is a bit lackluster and sounds like it's a stereo audio mixed with a synchronizer that went bad. I have found many issues so far including the Multilevels not having their lights working correctly, the HVAC and HEP not starting when I use the appropriate buttons as well.

Just out of curiosity, why does the Amfleet cars not have PIS. All Amfleet cars have a dot-matrix display on their insides and a small screen on the outside similar to the Acela's PIS on the outsides. Why was this not included. It's 2023, pretty much all routes are being shipped with PIS on trains. The brakes on the ALP-46 and mulitlevels feels really weird to use, but I can deal with it. I just don't understand how so many of this simple issues couldn't have been fixed before release. How does this pass the testing team. Do people really test this, because I don't understand how so many sound issues occur when that is one of the most important aspects to immersion. (It's TSW, what can I say at this point)

I will give credit where it's due, especially to the amazing models for the trains even the Amfleet cabcar has great interior lighting and HVAC sounds. I will say the horn on the ALP-46 and Multilevel cabcars are AMAZING. They sound authentic and true to life. Especially that ring at the end of the horn. DTG did a great job on that part. However, the horn on the Amfleet cabcar sounds very wrong and it cuts out abruptly and it sounds so synthetic, same for the Acela. If DTG could replicate what they did for the ALP-46 horn and multilevel cabcar, that would be wonderful. There are hundreds of examples for these horns as well. The Amfleet still has broken interior lighting as well. But they managed to fix the interior lights/HVAC in the Amfleet cabcar.

I also noticed the text for "Rahway Junction" on the map of stations is a mistake saying "Ruhway" instead of Rahway.

All in all it's a decent route, feels more like a ghost town, which is NOT accurate to real life. The trains are greatly modeled... not really worth $39.99 in my opinion in this state. This route could be so much better, simply by adding more services and possibly more trains to increase the variety.

I mean unless one service has much more gameplay than another, you’re still getting less value.

The thing to consider is the experience as a whole - I won’t comment on the price of the Fallen Flag pack since it doesn’t interest me either way.
