One area that TSW is often lacking is carriages, specifically lack of carriage variety. There seems to be a sense that as long as there's something broadly representative, there is no need to make new variations. Notable examples include: The DB Intercity coaches only having two types (Avmz and Bpmz), plus the cab car. The OEBB Intercity coaches only having the Bmz, making it standard class only. The red and mint n-wagen not having the ABn compositive coach. Different generations of DB Dostos never appearing. No variety of the Mk1s with spirit of steam. I think having more coach variants would really enhance the game in several ways: Immersion: the game feels more real with realistic formations Variety: Seeing different consists would massively enhance the experience when seeing trains, either on foot or from a train. World-building: the passenger and guard experience is much more interesting when there are multiple different types of carriage in a train Gameplay: the more specific a consist needs to be, the more opportunities that creates for shunting activity. So my suggestion would be for some enterprising third party to take the Cargo Line idea, and apply it to passenger stock. I've called this line "Carriage Works". Similar to Cargo Line, each could be pack with a set of vehicles, a few scenarios, and timetable services. As well as filling in the gaps above, some examples could be: Carriage Works: Intercity Sleeper, with Mk3 sleepers for JT's routes Carriage Works: Night Riviera, with sleeper services on GWE and Riviera line Carriage Works: Interregio, for Linke Rheinstrecke Carriage Works: Nightjet, with sleeper trains on various German/Austrian routes Carriage Works: Intercity Direct, taking the ICR (which is the loco-hauled version of the coaches in the Koploper, and putting them between two NS TRAXXes. Many of these could utilise already made body shapes, with different interiors.
