Route Suggestion] Munich Hbf to Kufstein (The Gateway to the Alps) - 93 kmThread Content:Route OverviewThis suggestion proposes the beautiful international route from München Hauptbahnhof (Germany) to Kufstein (Austria). Spanning approximately 93 kilometers, this route connects the bustling Bavarian capital with the Tyrolean border. The route offers a perfect mix of high-speed running, heavy commuter traffic, and scenic mountain views. It starts as a flat, high-density quad-track corridor alongside the Munich S-Bahn, passes through the major rail hub of Rosenheim, and then follows the Inn Valley into the Alps, terminating right under the famous Kufstein Fortress. Key Features & Scenery HighlightsThe Munich Hub: Includes full recreations of München Hbf and München Ost, offering immense traffic density. The Inntal Panorama: South of Rosenheim, the flat landscape transitions into a dramatic Alpine backdrop featuring the Wendelstein mountain and the jagged peaks of the Kaisergebirge. International Border Crossing: The final stretch features the crossing into Austria, introducing a switch from German DB infrastructure and signaling to Austrian ÖBB standards upon entering Kufstein. The Zahnradbahn Junction: Passing Brannenburg, players can see the historic Wendelstein rack railway tracks running alongside the main line. Included Rolling Stock (The Core Fleet)To make this route a must-have, it should feature iconic passenger and freight operators:BRB Stadler FLIRT 3 (Bayerische Regiobahn): The staple of local and regional services on this route, providing frequent stops and high-acceleration gameplay. ÖBB Railjet (BR 1116 + Railjet Cab Car / Coaches): A highly requested train for TSW. This would handle the fast EuroCity/Railjet services from Munich towards Austria, introducing pure Austrian long-distance flavor maybe to Add it on to this Route. BR 193 (Vectron) in "Lokomotion" Zebra Livery: Heavy freight is a core element of the Brenner corridor is mostly common there. The distinctive black/white or blue/white zebra Vectrons would look stunning hauling intermodal and RoLa (Rollende Landstraße) trains. Potential Layers (Massive Replayability)Since parts of Munich and Rosenheim are already built in TSW, this route is a golden opportunity for layering from existing DLCs:Munich S-Bahn (BR 423): Active on the parallel tracks between Munich Hbf and Grafing Bahnhof. DB ICE 3 / (ICE 1 for now because normally is the ICE 4 there): Visible at Munich Hbf and Munich Ost, adding to the immersion of a major terminal station. DB BR 101 / Eurofima Coaches: For Intercity layers heading towards Salzburg before splitting at Rosenheim.Various Freight Layers: Heavy freight traffic using BR 185s, Dispoloks, and various cargo wagons utilizing the overtaking tracks at Rosenheim. Why this route is perfect for TSW. It utilizes existing German assets from the Munich area while introducing a highly anticipated country to add some more Routes to there and teaser on for future routes in (Austria/ÖBB) and maybe the legendary long-distance train (the Railjet). The blend of flat mainline racing, commuter operation, and heavy freight against the backdrop of the Alps makes it a scenic and maybe a gameplay masterpiece. Pls people of the Community share your thoughts on it because i think it is a good Route to add to it since it does also Connect these Routes: Augsburg-Munich and Rosenheim-Salzburg. And if you need improvement in this Forum pls let me know because its like it is there a suggestion to DTG.
