On the East Coast you have Philadelphia Pittsburgh Hoboken Newark Baltimore and Boston these are also DC powered trams
I think that the new route will be the revival of NEC: NY from TSW2020 but extended to Trenton. (if we are talking about the current unknown US route)
I know that, I live on the NEC. But the code only includes overhead electric, meaning no Metro-North at all. And DTG is not stupid enough to make NYNH without Metro-North.
I know that, I don't need my local route explained to me. But the code is ONLY AC electric, no DC 3rd rail too. If that's the case, DTG is massively shooting themselves in the foot. So no, I highly doubt NYNH is this route.
Yes, I know that, but if there was DC in the route, there would be DC in the route code. The code says AC only.
I hope what ever route we get is longer than 30 miles and has more than one loco.my expectations are getting lower and lower.maybe they can surprise us
Logical points that makes somewhere between nyc and dc then. Since so many say there is no septa or Marc license that makes me think ny Penn to Trenton
I'm really starting to get nervous about this route. with all the issues, bugs, and lenght of the last couple of routes,my hopes are diminishing. I hope I'm wrong
DTG should do a Christmas route like they did for Train Simulator like that one route that's set in a living room with a Christmas tree or that one route that was set outside in a backyard during Christmas as well.
That's exactly what I talking about like similar to Holiday Express maybe with the same locomotives like the PRR K4 Pacifics and the EMD F7s and maybe they could add other locomotives like articulate locomotives or electric locomotives like the gg1s or they could make a route with prewar or postwar Lionel trains.
Pretty sure its gonna be nothing but reused stuff that's already in TSW. The F7 is already there, and could easily be used. They may throw in another loco maybe. I doubt they would make new stock for it. Maybe modify existing stuff into a holiday theme.
I was just thought of about this that they should make a ho or o gauge layout set in a display in a mall during Christmas when the store is closed so it could be a Christmas layout like people would see in shopping centers and when no one's around. The new locomotives that could be in the new route are they EMC EA but painted in Christmas colors. And the Southern Pacific 5000 series 3 cylinder 4-10-2s painted red or green and should say North Pole Lines or Christmas Express or just say Southern Pacific Lines. For rolling stock should be heavy weight or light weight passenger cars and for freight cars should be train cars with Christmas presents or candy canes in the cars. This is all I have to say if they ever do a fictional route for Train Sim World 3.
