Hi everyone, While we've got our minds set on further developing the game in 2016, we feel like now is a great time to gather more of your feedback about the game. We've been monitoring all of the feedback so far which has already given us a pretty good idea, but if there's still something you'd like to add to the discussion, now's the time to speak up. So far, the most popular things that have been brought to light on the forums are: More customisation in Float Fishing. Different hook sizes and ability to set the depth. Improving the casting mechanics / offer an alternative. We have announced an additional casting system to be added. Visit our website [dtgfishing.com] for more information. Fixing the landing net, which isn’t correctly attached to the character. Increase the in-game size of the tackle box. Playing the fish needs improvement. Fighting the fish / fish AI. Ability to toggle the HUD on/off. More SPOD options. Different kinds of bait, catapult, throwing stick etc. Live tournament improvements / balancing More tackle shop items (baits, rigs, weights, etc.) If you’re interested in helping us shape the game in the future, post a reply with the top 3 improvements you would like to see along with a short description of why and how you’d like to see it implemented. It can be any of the ones listed above, or something new. We'll pass on all constructive criticism to the development team and research possible implementations of your ideas. We're looking forward to whatever you guys come up with. Kind regards, Stefan This was posted on the steam forum.. a year and a half ago.. They have done only one of those items. Basic casting. And now with reports of the patch introducing new bugs and with gameplay still needing fixing plus the fact that they want us to pay 8.99 for a new lake, I think it's time the dev team stopped hiding and gave us some hard evidence that they can actually achieve what they have been saying.
