Hello everyone I would talk about a another suggestion of London Overground that the people in the comments prefer. Today I propose to you the North London Line of London Overground. I am offering this line to you following previous comments in my previous suggestion of the East London Line. Knowing that we had the right to the Train simulator version on PC of the North London Line and that it pleased the players. a Train Sim World version would be a good opportunity. London Overground North London Line is a Transport for London operated Overground line in London, England. Running between Richmond, Clapham Junction and Stratford, it passes through the inner suburbs of north London, England. Its route is a rough semicircle between the south-west and the north-east, avoiding central London. The line is owned and maintained by Network Rail and London Overground. Although much of it originated as part of the North London Railway, the current route is the result of a series of amalgamations, closures and reopenings, and has a mix of third-rail and overhead electrical power supply. It is an important freight route and is used by the Richmond to Stratford service of the London Overground, as part of the National Rail network. Also, between Richmond and Gunnersbury, London Underground's District line shares tracks with London Overground services, although this part is also owned and maintained by Network Rail. The line is electrified using the third rail system from Richmond to Acton Central, but with overhead lines now used from Acton Central to Stratford. The line is currently being converted to a fully-fledged class 378/2 Capitalstar with 5 car. The Class 378 Capitalstar is a dual-voltage electric multiple-unit train (EMU), designed to be supplied via either the 750 V DC third rail or the 25 kV 50 Hz AC overhead lines. it's actually a train simulator 22 route that must appear in train simulator world 2. Next is South London Network
Probably the best London Overground route to make. Don't forget all the freight that uses this line too.
Thanks for your feedback. actually I haven't thought about it, but I don't know too much about freight if you have any information I am a buyer
Between Willesden and Stratford you would typically see container freight operated by Freightliner and Direct Rail Services, using Class 66, 68, 86, 88 and Class 90 locomotives. Between Clapham and Acton you would see ballast trains operated by EWS/DBS using the Class 66, these would also be extensions to the freight services on BML/ECW. There are also some car carrying trains seen between Willesden and Gospel Oak, operated by a Class 92, which can divert via Stratford if needed. That's a simplified overview and I'm probably forgetting more, but generally speaking it's quite a busy route for freight.
Would be very interessted in this. Have even a "radical suggestion" on top: Since with tsw 2 also everybody has the bakerloo line, instead of starting from scratch, they could build the north london line in extension to the bakerloo line at willesden junction. Would add variety and be a start of a "network". Even if the tracks are separate it would add an experience of a tube line and an overground line in 1 map!
It's true, I hadn't thought about it. maybe that will be planned apparently it is planned that they come out. Thank you for your response back
It is NOT planned to come out. But given the popularity of this route in TS22, it will probably be made for TSW2 at some point.
I totally agree. Knowing that there is a version on train simulator. It would be an opportunity to have it version Train sim World 2. And for West London I intend to make a suggestion also soon. Thank you for your positive feedback
It would be fun to drive but I don't think NLL would do it justice. We would need a WCML route for that.
Ah ok, I suspected that for the moment it was not planned in the last roadmap they did not speak about it. That's why we have to talk about it there to move forward. Thanks for your return.
That ain't how it works. I'm all for the London Overground, however once you suggest it's up to Dovetail. If it's not on the roadmap, don't take it as "they're not talking about it *yet*", instead take it as "they're *not* making it". It means you won't create false expectations for yourself.
Yes I understand and it is obvious that it is up to Dovetail to decide even if we are in favor of this suggestion.
