Today I suggest a very large-ish route but when you actually look at the mileage it’s only about 65 miles which is similar to Preston - Crewe so we can get away with it, I suggest Nottingham to Leeds Via Sheffield which has a mix of diesel commuter traffic & high speed on the MML. Stations: Nottingham Ilkeston Langley Mill Alfreton Chesterfield Dronfield Sheffield Meadowhall Chapeltown Elsecar Wombwell Barnsley Darton Wakefield Kirkgate Normanton Woodlesford Leeds Fleet: Class 222 Meridian. Class 195 Civity. Reason for this fleet: I’ve picked these trains as I believe they are essential for different purposes and the route wouldn’t be the route without them. Today the class 195 serves stopping services up and down this line on many different journeys (the full length of the line) and the class 222 is an essential express train between Nottingham & Sheffield. Layers: NT Class 158 EMT debranded Class 158 XC Class 170 XC Class 220 NT Class 331 NT Class 333 LNER Class 801 (Maybe even the EMT Class 43) Besides that, this is all from me today I hope you enjoyed reading this I think this would bring extra attention to the game and would make a lot of people’s wishes come true as there’s a massive amount of requests in forums, online etc for the Northern MML & Leeds - Sheffield Line so it would bring good value to the game thank you
EMR services between Nottingham and Sheffield are the 158 and 170. The 222 would mostly just be Sheffield to Chesterfield as after that the run down to London via Derby
