Just wondered if anyone has any experience of this and how to sort it. As you can see from the screenshots (you’ll need to zoom in to see) the distant scenery (trees to the right in the 1st image & stadium structure in the 2nd) when the weather is set with any kind of fog appears as strange vertical lines. I can’t for the life of me work out why. It looks way worse in reality than in these screenshots. This is using a 2080 ti, the latest driver, the AP weather pack and RWEPro. I thought RWE might have been the problem but the issue exists with that completely disabled. My settings are included as screenshots too. I’ve never seen this before, and never saw it with my previous machine that had an AMD RX580 GPU. Any advice gratefully received!
As I can’t delete this thread (to my knowledge) thought it worth mentioning that I’ve stumbled across the answer, having tried literally everything else I could think of. I think it was a setting in the Nvidia control panel where I’d set texture quality to performance. I’ve switched it back to quality and it seems to have done the trick.
It is worth keeping as other people might see your solution if they get the problem Most would search the forum for Nvidia Peter
