Can confirm the switch is the problem.... Verification of switch misalignment and can not be switched in map as per usual.... Automatic switch so can not be changed manually either... DTG Matt This prevents continuation of the service. I see this has been brought up a couple times since 2020 also, can we get a track crew on this?
I'd love to see this scenario fixed. I've attempted this at least half a dozen times hoping the switch would magically change, but to no avail. Now hoping someone on the DTG team can do the magic.
I had the same problem on steam, today I decided to retry it and completed it without any problems, I got a green over flashing yellow on exit out of Aldershot yard, I don't know if DTG has fixed it or if it works some of the time.
Nope.... stuck at red signal again. Waited 20 minutes or so. Checked the line for AI trains coming in from other directions that might justify the red signal - nothing moving anywhere. Gave up again.
Tried it on TSW2 PS4 yesterday and got stuck as well behind this red ... It seems to have ported over from TSW2020. Maybe it´s just DTG´s version of "A Bug´s Life"?
I have been stuck with a Stop signal here, having made several attempts. I attempt calling the RTC for 564 permission to pass Stop signal & get a message stating “denied, train in block”. Bringing up the map, there appear to be no apparent opposing movements all the way east to Oakville. I’ve given up on this particular simulation numerous times, due to this particular glitch. I’m using XBox One.
Also, CROR rules state that trains/engines must stop no closer than 300 feet from a signal displaying Stop. The exception is if a train/engine movement needs to close up to the signal, to clear a road crossing, railway crossing at grade, certain switches & other signals.
It's broken and has been for years. Despite numerous repetitive reports and notifications of this, DTG seems to have no intention to fix it.
Which is infuriating, because we all paid for something that glitches. It’s likely a simple matter of correcting the alignment of that dual-control crossover switch leading to Oakville Main #1.
The same for me, i had tried it several times, and the red signal always stay there. I have finished ALL scenarios of all my routes... this is the only one that i can´t. i hate this situation... many people asked for a solution but DG don´t do anything... they only wants our money...
I'm joining the challenge! Tried 3 times, constantly stuck on this signal. At the same time, I successfully completed this scenario in TSW2, but I want to go through it again in TSW3, since with the transfer of the profile from TSW2, I have to go through the scenarios again in order to get the Steam achievement. By the way, if you go through the scenario 'Unhook it soon', you can pay attention, the AI, which brings us a replacement locomotive, just executes the 'Equipment move' scenario and it absolutely also gets stuck on this signal after unhooking the locomotive, amazing! I play in the Steam.
It works ok on TSW2 so if you have TSW2 installed, create a new profile, complete the scenario, then import the profile you created from TSW2 to TSW3. Job done The only snag is, you'll need to complete all the other scenarios again with the new profile you transferred over to get the 'OSD: All in a day's work' achievement award.
As I said earlier, I went through all the OSD scenarios in TSW2, and this is even reflected in the TSW3 profile, but the achievement in steam does not come until you go through these scenarios again in TSW3
This is happening on the PC version (Steam), and in both TSW2 and TSW3. I suppose I need to just give up on this scenario seeing that it appears to have been a known issue for so many years...
exact same issue on PS5 TSW3 I know I completed it on TSW2 PS5 may go and do it again on TSW2 and import to TSW3 to see if it works so a bug from 2 versions ago is still in the game!
well I went back to TSW2 PS5 and completed Equipment Move on the 1st attempt! Imported it into TSW3. On PSN profiles only 4 people have finished the all scenarios for Oakville route and all before the end of 22 so either it was broken or all the others imported save into 3. Has a similar issue with a training module on a German route managed to do the faulty module on TSW2 imported into 3 then completed the rest and got the trophy. It makes you wonder if the process of bringing older routes into TSW3 has caused some issues to occur. Which is when TSW4 is released they should release old routes in stages on it to actually test ALL training and scenarios for each route before release. I did 2 other scenarios on my TSW3 save before running into this scenario (inc the over 1 hour one!) annoying having to do it again but hopefully I can do the rest and get what is an ultra rare trophy!
