This would be set in German State of Hessen in the nineties. This is a beautiful non-electrified single track route partly in mountainous region. There were still old-style semaphore signals back in the nineties there. Trains run from Ebersbach or Erbach to Darmstadt or Hanau (Frankfurt). The stock used were 215 diesel locomotives with so called n-Wagen and "Karlsruher" driving trailers as well as class 628 DMUs. The route lenght is 88km (Eberbach-Wiebelsbach-Hanau) and 32km (Wiebelsbach-Darmstadt) making total length of 120km. Two big stations exists, which are Hanau Hbf and Darmstadt Hbf.
