Czech locomotives have loads of character, that's for sure!

Was just about to ask if there's a way to remove or replace missing wagons :)

I did try the RailWorks DLS app which helped me find the rest of the missing pieces. However, I still get missing assets errors in some of the scenarios for some reason. But aside from that the app and the downloads site work great.

Well, I have. I have rarely had any problem that I couldn't solve with persistant googling and translators :D
The only problem I have had is with freeware UK stuff, I think I am on my third year of waiting for approval for a UKTS account. I understand it's being closed this year, so maybe the files will get a home where you can actually download the files.

I'd describe them as vehicles with all the aesthetics of a chipped cinder block. And I'm an American ... :)

Bumping this - I remember somewhere someone stated that the 749 stopped working with the new core - I just tested it and it does work. :)

If you've got a subwoofer - crank it up to enjoy this beast's sound.

According to those pictures Peter posted week or so ago - those two Bardotkas were prototypes. Later design was applied to normal loco series. Btw, one of those (I believe blue one) have been tested with hydrodynamical clutch in 60s, when CKD has been deciding between hydro and electric delivery of diesel power to bogies. Electric won. So that blue one is the only one with that prototypical hydroclutch.

Yes, KaMat is very good in what he´s doing - made some catenary assets for him years ago. CZ/SK community is small, but consistent. Luckily I´m part of it :)

I know this topic is 9 months old but I am really enjoying these locomotives. Screenshot_Hamburg to Hanover_53.52388-10.00363_07-56-43.jpg

Although this is freeware, it is better than some of the payware trains in my experience.

I really love driving this one. I am also hoping that there will be a PKP SU46 locomotive for this game in the future as I like that one too but that's for another topic. Anyway, I highly encourage anyone to try out these Czech trains as they are very nice in my opinion.

I love these locomotives. Thanks for the photos Peter/749006. As for the routes I use, At the moment, I am just using some German routes I have as the links for the Czech route isn't working for me but I will likely use the Forest Rail route for some planned scenarios. I know its a fictional Japanese route but these seem to fit at home with the landscape.

I have seen the Forest Rail route but I don't have much Meter Gauge Stock - apart from Swiss.

I know the Forest Rail route isn't perfect but I enjoy it with these trains. The only trains that would fit accurately is the Swiss Alps trains and perhaps the Jenbach to Mayrhofer trains from Austria as they are the same but for a game. I treat it as a virtual model railway lol.

If you look into Pikku's work you will find he has a narrow gauge route (750mm) with a Czech 0-6-2T and a diesel similar to the Austrian they wouldn't look out of place on metre gauge.

This T679 is quite nice to drive. I just used my German freight cars for this.

Has anyone managed to get scenarios to work on this route? It seems it requires locos, which are nowhere to be found.
I have installed Railworks Download Station (https://dls.rw.jachyhm.cz/) to find missing stuff, but it cannot find it too.

I am wondering if the route will ever be updated and expanded, as far as I recall it's still very much beta once you cross the border into Slovakia.

I believe it gets updated, last version is
    Trat CZ - Fren - Ova - Za v.099.2024.01.16

And now its a huge map with a lot of requirements for scenarios to work.

Obviously and that's why it's rather empty at times when it comes to scenery. Where is the latest version?

Here is the author facebook page with links to the last version of his route
    https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057722167274

Scenario requirements are in text files in Scenarios folder of the route.
The problem is not all links still work... For instance HRQ Taurus link is dead..

If you cannot find a loco and a wagon then swap it for something else - there is not just one make of a loco

And the HRQ Taurus still seems to be available

In order to play a route you have to work hard to make it work)

If you have a Freeware route then some effort is required to obtain the assets required.
If that it too much work then stick to the out of the box DTG route.
