New timetable, wagons upgraded to modern driving physics standards (brake timings selector etc) and some updates to the 143: make the existing programs work properly, add "Freier Auslauf", add KWS36 to it.

A paid extension with a new locomotive (preferably a shunter), upgraded scenery, and more track would be nice.

I don't know if TSG are still working on this:[IMG]
But if they are that would be a good opportunity to extend the route, it could be released either as part of an extension or as a loco DLC

Well, if we are simply talking remaster, rather than full (paid) rebuild, then besides TOD4 it could use a timetable that makes use of the many new German trains which have been released since (IF they are prototypical*), and the newer post_DRA freight cars with multiple brake modes.
But as much fun as a new busier timetable would be, please DON'T mess up the excellent 363 timetable and its interaction with arriving and departing freights!

(Although extensions generally fall outside the "remaster" sphere, I note that WSR was nudged out to the mainline, and on that scale adding the spur to Iserlohn might be possible)

*Allowing for some "cheating," like using an ICE 3 in place of the ICE T that makes the run

To summarise, in my opinion, for RSN in priority order:
1 - AI traffic at Hagen Hbf; it's a lovely station but just very empty in RSN (pretty much the same for it in RRO as well). Would like to see all different types of services that incorporate all the newer locos that have since come to TSW. A good example is the BR 612, if I remember correctly Kassel station from Kassel-Wurzburg has AI 612 services to/from Hagen, so would actually be nice to see these represented in RSN. Would also like to see more older German TSW routes finally have missing ICE and IC services etc
2 - Update distant scenery; in my opinion it's one of the only flaws with RSN although that's only because it's such an old TSW route.
3 - Extension to Iserlohn; literally only a few KM with one intermediate station but would add a lot of extra gameplay value.
4 - Extension to Siegen; would be fantastic for several reasons such as having complete Hagen-Siegen services rather than finishing at Finnetrop etc
5 - Route merge with RRO; only suggested this as RRO is woefully short and feels a rather empty route in general and thus might be better combined with RSN.

I'd echo shouts for West Cornwall to be WSR'd.
It needs some love, even if it was in the form of an original 125 being dropped in and a new timetable set up.

Man that route needs some love.

extending the route to Siegen, updating the vegetation and scenery, and a new schedule would make me happy and I am willing to pay a high price for it.

WCL needs much more than a WSR-style upgrade. St Austell is such an awkward place for the route to end; it would have been better including the Falmouth branch and truncated to Truro on the main line to give us somewhere else suitable to drive the Class 150 and to better match the routes' namesake.

A SEHS-style extension to Plymouth shouldn't be out of the question either, St Austell is nearly halfway already. Probably too ambitious if including all the branches, but a good long distance main line run for a Valenta HST would be epic.

One feature all routes should really get is the bridge and tunnel reverb. Doing a quick S8 drive on RRO earlier (following up with a Vectron run having made the pleasant discovery it layers in) and you really miss the effect passing under bridges and tunnels.

Unfortunately that's outside the scope for the WSR'ing of routes, that'd be more a paid overhaul.
Which I'm not against, if it fixes alot of the issues and maybe extends down to Falmouth and up to Plymouth

Honestly, it's something I wouldn't mind forking out for, even if I have already bought it.

In the case of WCL I rather it had a paid expansion to make the route feel more complete, such as by including the Falmouth branch or extending across to Plymouth to create the full Cornish Main Line. Other routes like IOW are already largely complete, so they would be more suitable for a WSR-style overhaul/upgrade IMO.
