Has anyone else seen this in the Caltrain route at the Mountain View stop (or at any other stops)- pedestrians literally standing in the middle of the tracks? Those crazy Californians, huh? :)

...yep, should look even more interesting with double vision. :)

I opened up a ticket for this issue yesterday, and so far (since I’ve had the Caltrain route) I’ve not seen this at any other stops. It also doesn’t do this every time at Mountain View in spectator mode... just once in awhile.

I’ve also seen this and it can ruin some nice shots of trains at stations. But it only seems to happen when you spawn at the station and stay there a bit. It’s funny to see the train go right through them!

...that’s exactly what I was doing at the time- taking screenshots of early morning train traffic! And yep, I did lose a few of those... I just reloaded the station once or twice which fixed the pedestrian issue. Very strange.

Yep. Sometimes I just like to spawn at a station and railfan a bit. It’s way easier now because the AI timetable on most newer routes is very busy compared to the older timetables like LIRR where only one train comes every hour at a station! Those pedestrians really ruin those shots though and DTG need to fix that.

Sign on LIRR station: "Don't run, the next train will arrive shortly!"
The next train: *still one hour away*

I thought only UK passengers behaved like this, but it seems in the USA discipline is decreasing as well ... And even in Germany I saw people ignoring a closed level crossing.:(

Here in Australia we have signs at pedestrian crossings that say "Don't push your X-ing luck". Mods, I wasn't trying to get away with a swear, that's literally what the signs say. We also had a campaign about our trams in Melbourne, explaining to people/cyclists/drivers that a tram is akin to a Rhinoceros on a skateboard. I hope, should TSW routes ever come to Australia, our passengers will obey!

I'm pretty sure these ai passengers are just tired of missing there train, but i'm not sure this is the best technic to avoid it.Clearly dtg needs to work on passenger ai sometime.
