since we have the peninsula corridor route in California that's the one before electrification (SF-SJ), why not also add the electrified version of it (since 2024)! this addition is kinda like the old isle of Wight railway before 2022, but then we got a new isle of Wight 2022 that had the new trains! this new electrified route will have the new CalTrain EMU's.

DTG no longer has the CalTrain licensing, so the electrified Peninsula Corridor is not possible at this time. It would be great to see the Stadler KISS EMUs running between SF and SJ, along with a couple of UP diesels, maybe an SD59MX, SD70M, GP60, or GP40N, for local freights on the line.
I still want the Southern Pacific version of the Peninsula Commute: SF-SJ Route (maybe extended to Gilroy too) in game. The SP route would be set in the 1950s-70s and include SP's FM H-24-66 Trainmasters in both Black Widow and Bloody Nose liveries, SP Alco S4s, SP Alco RS-32s, and SP EMD SD9s and GP9s in both liveries as well. SP's EMD SDP45s would be a good alternative to the FM Trainmasters. Freight rolling stock would include stockcars, tank cars, boxcars, flatcars with different loads (also unloaded versions), PFE reefers, hoppers, sugar beet cars, gondolas, etc., along with a caboose or two. For passenger rolling stock on the 1950s-70s SF-SJ/Gilroy route, we'd get both the Harriman coaches and the Bi-Level coaches in SP livery.

Although it could be fun to see how a route has changed (I quite liked both Riviera Line DLCs for TSC), I found the Peninsula Corridor a tad boring, plus I doubt the gap in time is big enough to warrant a second iteration of the same route.

The good thing about SF PC is that on an express run you could really get going and thrash it. But those all stations runs taking something like 100 minutes got a bit tedious.

However as noted, unless Caltrain recant their licencing stance DTG won’t be revisiting it.

licencing is not a word. if you're British, then it's spelled "licence" as a noun, "and "license" as a verb. unless your native language is not English then you should know better. i am not completely sure if "licencing" is actually a word since i am not an expert, so please don't get mad at me

I'm all for accurate spelling, grammar and so forth, but even I, pedant that I can be, wouldn't make a whole post just to point out someone confusing 'licence' with 'license'. Your post count is going to rocket skywards if you do the same for all the their/there/they're confusion that goes on.

Indeed! And regardless of the semantics around the spelling, bottom line is DTG are probably done with anything Caltrain.

would love Stadler KISS US version, but as most ppl here said, not realistic in short term unless DTG get the license and stuff
