On the F40PH and on the gallery cab car brake there is a position called holding and a position called lap. Could someone tell me what’s the difference between the two positions? Thanks for your answers in advance.
It seems that the holding position actually charges the brake pipe while retaining the brake cylinder pressure. I heard that this is used for faster brake release.
