Petition For Fife Circle To Be The Next Scottish Route For Tsw

DTG aren't going to take the time to make a new timetable for a 3rd parties route, when they are not even doing it for their own most of the time. Except US routes when Joe does amazing work.

As said previous because it is Rivet's DLC in is on them to go and add what is available.

I will stick my thumbs up to anything that gets us a Class 68. And the Forth Bridge would be brilliant too, either on this or on Edinburgh - Dundee.

 

Let's bring it on to the game remember there are some train simulator classic screenshot contest winners using the route. The Highlight here is the Forth Bridge

 

Definitely! The forth rail bridge is a massive historical landmark in Scotland so it would be brilliant to be able to drive on that bridge over the firth of forth in TSW. If this got made it would be the longest rail bridge over a body of water in TSW yet! Also I have a feeling it would look much better than the TSC version.

As a Scot from the south bank of the river Forth, I can confirm that they do talk funny over there (Almost as funny as them south of the Tweed)

Some Scots do talk a little funny in some areas to be fair.

Despite this I am still an advocate for the fife circle in TSW and hope that this thread can continue peacefully.

Just Trains have shown what they can do with Blackpool Branches so I hope they could do it.

Since this is also a quite complex route. The difference between a success and a nightmare is very close.

 

Joe made a brilliant timetable for BML which made Victoria super busy including SE services.

 

Yeah, but that was again their own route. They aren't going to make a new Timetable for a third parties route, that's up to Rivet to do.

 

Well somebody PLEASE do it, you're all supposed to be working together for the same game.

 

A Rivet 170... Crikey. Imagine what they're going to do for the sounds, in real life they're great sounding trains but unless they use AP sounds and implement them properly there's not much hope. I'll wait for the ItsYa165 sound patch.

 

They don't have unlimited employees. Dtg have tons of their own projects to do with their own timetable creators. So do other developers.

Well guess what - you make an effort and you are rewarded with more sales and money, business is give and take. Are you saying you don't want to see Azuma's taking their rightful place in Edinburgh - that seems a strange view?
I remind you of what just a couple of employees (mostly one) did with the WSR in their own time and the fantastic feedback that achieved for the company. Sales of all the component parts must have rocketed. Adding Azuma's to Edinburgh would take up a fraction of that time by comparison and enhance DTG sales of the components. Layering is very important with this game and it's what most of us want..

 

Its not the number of people involved in the development process, its how much effort they put in that counts.

 

Cool to see that this project comes alive. I hope that Rivet Games will do a good job at replicating Edinburgh and its surroundings, including the absolutely iconic Forth Bridge.

 

Be careful for what you wish for cause you might just get it. Let's hope FCL is not another New York to Trenton

I'd also love to see this in the game can't wait as we would finally be able to have the 170 in TSW aswell. Also it gives us a bit more variety at Edinburgh wavely witch would be cool. And Hopefully the Azuma would be included as AI aswel at Edinburgh.?
