On PS5 depth of field and focal point don't really work at all unless you're on very low numbers like 1 - 5. Almost does nothing above that. All routes, all locomotives
Could it be changed to how a conventional camera actually works with F-Stops Shutter Speed Manual Focus etc and Photo FX like film grain, black and white, sepia, its a photo mode, so why can't we have the proper tools.
No one has said we can’t have those features, there nothing stopping DTG from implementing them, it’s just a matter of time, however much time? Who knows?
The photo mode turned out great, but I have a few suggestions for improvement. An option that you can perhaps zoom with the mouse wheel. An option so that you can set whether a driver is sitting in the front seat or not. It looks a little strange when I take photos of a moving train with no driver sitting inside. You have built in a function where you can choose between autofocus and manual focus. A function for the autofocus would be nice so that you can choose where the autofocus should focus.
Something is weird with the photo mode and the weather, at least on East Coast Main Line. I was running the scenario "Re-record". The weather was quite foggy (something that seems to be quite usual in this map, it’s always covered in fog). At some point, I’d say 10 minutes in the scenario, I enabled photo mode, in order to screenshot how foggy it was, because it felt unusual for a speed test to be done in such a weather. And all of a sudden, while the photo mode started, the fog disappeared. I figured I’d screenshot the old way, but the fog was no more in the scenario too… As if the photo mode had an effect on the normal mode. I don’t know if the map is buggy (it certainly is, the weather can’t be that bad all year around Doncaster), or if the photo mode really changes the weather in the scenario you play, but in my opinion, it should not.
Here’s an example of the phenomenon Before going into photo mode Coming back from photo mode (I didn’t touched to anything while in this, I just waited a few seconds) For me, this qualifies as a bug, but I can’t say if the bug is the weather before, or the change in weather.
