I have just paid £60 for this for the year. I only really buy TSW games and dlcs. Should I be getting discounts because of this or is it mainly for other games, does anyone know. Thanks
If you only buy TSW games and DLC, then you wasted your money on PS plus, you might see some discounts, but not worth the £60 cost PS plus essential is for multiplayer, and some free games each month
You get a 10% discount for pre-ordering TSW7 as an active PS plus member. Whilst they used to have a 10% discount for new routes too, they stopped doing that some time ago. You certainly won’t get your £60 subscription cost back from TSW discounts. For other various things (non TSW related) you may get value, but mainly PS plus is for online access, then of course you get the free monthly game(s). You also get access to cloud saves that can come in handy for TSW, there used to be an issue with corrupted saves & cloud saves got me my TSW profile back. That’s not been an issue for the last couple of years though.
I’ve lost en entire year worth of gameplay last month or so due to save file corruption on ps5. Unfortunately, the cloud storage didn't help much this time.

This happened to me too this spring. I did restore a backup from the cloud, but it just went corrupt again. Fresh start with a new profile ....
Was your in game level over a 1000 when the save file started getting corrupted? What I did was to re-import my tsw4 profile so I didn’t have to start from scratch.
It was over 10 million points, level 490 or something. After the first crash I did re import my TSW5 profile, but it crashed again. I do still have the old profile, and I recorded the scores for my top locomotives and routes in an excel file somewhere . And starting from scratch was kind of refreshing, in some odd way.
