I'm using xbox x Turn on pzb Turn on sifa Set pzb to O Set AFB to 20kmh Pass signal when leaving siding, acknowledge with pzb stick About 5 seconds later i get emergency brake application. BR193 Vectron Please can somebody tell me why this is happening as its driving me bonkers
Where does this happen, what was the signal state? Give the service name please so I can replay. It sounds as if the PZB acknowledgement in case of a warning signal was not registered by the game. Not being on console, but I think I've read about controller issues.
When you moved the AFB lever to 20, was the AFB turned on, and did you actually set the speed by pressing down on the lever? You may already know to do this, but it would be useful for everyone to be on the same page. Was the signal you acknowledged showing any colour other than green? When you acknowledged, did the message to stay below a speed appear, or was that message already there before you acknowledged? Did a 1000Hz symbol appear on the screen? When you acknowledged, did the train make the relevant beep/did the train say "Zugbeeinflussung"? As said above, you can press PZB release to free yourself from the startup program, but you may only do so if there is no adverse signal aspect or significant speed reduction coming up in the next couple hundreds metres.
Signal green, pushed yellow pzb acknowledge...when it locks brakes on then the 1000mhz yellow warning appears. Hope that helps
If AFB was engaged, and the signal was green, then it may be something to do with the route. Could you tell us what route this happened on, where on the route, and which service you were playing please? However, I reiterate that AFB will not be set on the Vectron unless you click the lever down (or press the button on the controller that does that). Without this, AFB will not be set, and you will not be held at 20km/h.
