And even with this totally reworked timetable, they were able to offer the new SEHS for free for anyone who owned the old SEHS. I don't care if you call it an extension or a rebuild. If they can do it for SEHS, they can do it for another route as well. Pretty sure they were able to reuse a lot of the old things made for SEHS and it was considerably less work for them compared to building the route from scratch. And that's without charging extra money for the extension/rebuild.

Not quite ‘anyone’ as the original release bundles were organised in a way that a lot of players ended up buying the route again in a bundle. The new version was in the place of a totally new route, and if there had been a totally new route the bundle price would have been the same, so lots of people paid for the extension. It’s all water under the bridge now but it doesn’t set a precedent for extending any route and giving it way for free (a genuinely free update, not based on another purchase).

    Both!

    Extensions
    1. East Coastway: Brighton to Ore and Ashford International from Eastbourne or Hastings (Marshlink)

    New DLC
    1. Hastings to London Charing Cross (the complete route and not stopping short for AI to take over). This can be set in the modern-day, or going back to the days of the Hastings Thumper.
    2. Any London Underground route and maybe set in a different time era like early to mid 20th Century
    3. Brighton (yes, I know) to Portsmouth Harbour
    4. SEHS: Ashford International to Ramsgate via Folkestone and Dover Priory and via Canterbury West.

Just to be clear, I'm not expecting extensions for free.

Many routes are more like early demo, not mature products.
I have SEHE, DRA. I don't think there will be a better route.
I buy DRA first and then SKA+BR423. I regret it.
I'm considering whether to stop buying TSW. If I don't buy it, I won't be disappointed.

I was thinking if the SEHS should be extended to St Pancras International as it would connect to the Southeastern High Speed Platforms via a small pathway in the station. If this extension does happen, there could be extensions for Southeastern aswell which could go to Charing Cross and Cannon Street via Greenwich, Woolwich, Bexleyheath and also Sidcup.
This would suit for the release of the class 700 in TSW 3.

SEHS already goes to St Pancras International.

I mean if it’s suitable for the Class 700 when it releases

The lines to London from Dartford/Rochester would come as their own routes.
They wouldn't really work as an extension and, realistically, it's not worth it just for the 700.

I agree i think if they could do York - Liverpool and add 25s it would be absolutley hellfire.
