Yes I get that which is why I am trying to get extra formations in to the game without having to use formation designer. Have had a fair bit of success so far but, when it comes to coaches, seem to struggle getting loaded versions to appear. There is also the question of the game only recognising one version of each coach which also limits possibilities although I might experiment by making scenario specific coaches with say the BSOT livery on one side and a BSO livery on that other. When one coach is flipped that would then get 2 versions of the same coach in the same rake (similar to the HST powercar trick).

If I ever get the time I might try and see if cloning is possible as a quick way to achieve a better answer. However, for the moment, I am sticking with my extra paths mods as something to keep me occupied.

Although a UK route is announced, remember that JT also did some routes of other countries for TSC. For example, the Tōhoku High Speed & Main Line, or the U-Bahn Frankfurt or U-Bahn Hamburg.

Would be a bummer if DTG just reveals a big surprise in a next roadmap. They can't really do it, can't they? But who knows.

That's a TSC Just trains route their MML Extension to sheffield which has the Yard. If TSW wants more JT TSC route's heres the list and for the Chinese Routes that should be a JT Union Workshop route

As regards the Chinese and Japanese TSC routes, I believe JT were just the publisher not developer. As we know, UW are fully committed to their Tadami line project so highly unlikely they would be working on a side project for JT, too.

I would say 99.9% certain it’s another UK route and as discussed ad infinitum already in the thread probably 80% certain it won’t be too distant from their previous BPO and set in a similar time period.

I'd quite like to see JT have a go at some locomotive/gameplay packs too, e.g. a modern Class 142 for the Rose Hill Marple services on Glossop line. They seem fully committed to TSW now going forward, as they previously stated their MML network for TSC was reaching a conclusion and the fact they have no known in-house projects for TSC at the moment, only for TSW.

A special that runs about a couple of times a month is overdue? We haven't even got 156s in TSW yet or 37/0s, 50s, 56s, 60s never mind anything else.....

You are right, Just Trains just were the publisher. I found out that the japanese route were made by Union Workshop. The two german routes were created by Urban Train Sim.

I was just confused because Steam says that they would be the Developer. I guess Steam does not care of a second degree entry for a publisher.

Base Game Publisher -> Publisher -> Developer

Well, then let's hope for an exciting new british addon.

Could JT be thr first developer to return to the southern region for 2 years or keep following the trend of northern routes or return to the Western region or hit 3rd hit on transport for London.
    Southern; Portsmouth direct during SWT
Western; The Riviera line in BR blue
    Northern; WCML, in BR blue
London; Metropolitan line, set at current day

I hope it's the last one as TFL only has one Underground route and a very short Overground line.

Portsmouth direct would be awesome , but swr not playing ball with licence.. however, slamdoor era in network south east could work... as long as the class 50 introduced to the route. Ooo and a thumper!

How about the Looe branch with one of these beauties? ;)
(Shhhh don't tell DTG/JT it is steam powered......just tell them it is 'clag' :D ).
Mind you, a BR Blue version might look a bit odd !!!

    I reckon;

Settle-Carlisle under Northern since we know that license is in place. Rolling stock: re-liveried 158, re-liveried pacer. Some railtour workings could be formed from additional DLC including 37's, Jubilee or Flying Scotsman.

I'd like to see a TSW4/5 version of the ancient RW/TSC Dorsett route, with Black Fives, freight and passenger services (Bath to the coast), set in the pre-Beecham's Axe era.
