Yeah that's an issue I'm facing too. I want to make absolutely clear how badly I want the branches, but I don't wanna shoot myself in the foot by not buying any routes that I'm still interested in.
I'm the same with BML. Nothing wrong with BML but i'm torn between proving a point or getting a route I'm interested in.
I have enough time to think about it, but I think I won't deny myself content I want just to make a point, instead I'll continue to voice my opinion on here. I do really want the branches, even if it means a delay and/or paying 5-7 euros more.
It would be cool if dtg introduced a partial season ticket in which we could perhaps choose two out of the three routes we want. Since I don't want to own Riesa-Dresden, I don't want to get the season ticket which would give me a route I don't want
There's a new generation of Train enthusiasts born every second. DTG can (and will?) afford to continue their current work practices. I'm still learning, but I do hear the same spiel over and over on the streams.
But isn't it better to get new enthusiasts WHILE keeping the old ones? You don't have to alienate them to get the new ones, on the contrary.
It's simple, Natalie: the player base want better and bigger and more interesting routes, not just more of the same - and, very importantly, would be willing to pay more for them if they were available. Again: I would happily have paid more for the full advertised Riesa-Dresden. I will not be buying the castrated version at all. Lost money for DTG. You are not increasing profitability this way.
