I'm not even from around there (I'm from Surrey) but I have been to Clitheroe when I stayed near there around 3 years ago and enjoyed it. So I had a look at the lines around there and thought 'well this is a great idea'.
Great suggestion, plenty of interest with two very different branch lines, one of which is electrified.
